The bible clearly states that 2 are better than 1 … verse to follow below in comments This is my neighborhood! It has been for a year and 1/2 now. I’ve moved so many many times over the years that the initial move was always excitement filled with wonder … until the settling in began.. the friends and family now again left so far away. Move closer to home then another move further away again. This is the first time in my life completely living on my own… and it’s been a terrifying ride to say the least… fear, anxiety, disappointment, loneliness and the list goes on. I grew up in a busy home, filled to the brim. There was no chance of privacy or quietness. So much relocating over the years since leaving my parents home, the aloneness was always the worst for me.. then came years of being alone and lonely even when I wasn’t on my own. I love being surrounded by laughter and noise…and always feared being alone. Now I am on my own and alone and I’ve learned that I can very much enjoy the silence and my own company. Rather surprisingly actually. I’ve overcome some fears, many fears.. I’ve gotten myself healthy enough to give up some medications I was on. I’m trying to make my new space my home. I say this not to revel in my own ability but to give Thanks to God, my children, my friends and family. So many times I’ve wanted to give up but I remember what my parents have taught me about trusting God in everything, not just when times are going as planned but when disaster comes and life as we know it falls apart around us! I have trusted in God my whole life but these last few years I’ve had to put my trust into practice. My reference to the bible verse… two are better than one… we can help each other … my pain has not left me and I know I will always have challenges, like we all do but with God and my faithful friends and family I will be lifted up… I know I post my personal life lots.. it’s so you know if you’re struggling, you’re not alone. We all post happy faces but it’s only a small portion of what’s happening in our lives. I am blessed and very grateful! It’s not about positivity but more about gratitude! Verse below THANK YOU 🙏🏻
