Can you see the resemblance?

@ukuleleprojecthawaii added wings to this picture of me a few years ago because I always wanted to be a fairy. As a Shakespeare nerd, I love A Midsummer Night’s Dream. And three different psychics on separate occasions told me I had fairy energy. Finally, my fairy wishes came true when I got to play one for the first time in the Video Game #PathtoNowhere. I’m the voice of Ying Ying, the Wisteria Fairy. She can make your dreams extremely pleasant or hurt you with her Wisteria staff.

Some of my favorite VO animation parts I’ve booked from shows like Pinky Malinky, The Loud House, Make My Day, and My Dad the Bounty Hunter. And the video game, Destruction All Stars. Sadly, I can’t fit all of my booked work in here. Which, I guess, is a good problem to have.

During a live stream, I talked about a moment in class when I was getting way too ahead of myself that I glossed over so much, and was ultimately humbled the teacher.

She did it in a very direct, assertive yet respectful way and it was undoubtedly something that NEEDED to happen.

It felt very important for me to share this, as the ego needs to be kept in check. Characters can never really be fully established unless you put in the work.

I am forever grateful for @angelamalhotra from @mic_up_vo for her training and for pushing me in the way that she does. 🎙️

Some people get dis-heartened, upset, or take things personally, but as long as the teacher is respectful……don’t you want to grow? Don’t you want to get better?

We never truly learn or improve unless the right people push us further and are straight with us from the get-go.

Want to train in voicing for animation and video games?

Tap in with Angela! ⭐️

Happy New Year!🎆 It's only your opinion of yourself that matters. Start habits not resolutions. Set mini goals for yourself so you can always feel like you are winning. And yes, some days putting on pants is a big enough goal. I hope all of OUR dreams come true!!

"That would have been a hilarious video," I say laughing, not knowing someone actually caught my fall on camera. Thank goodness they did! I've never been embarrassed when I fall because I know those moments are COMEDY GOLD!! You're welcome😁

Bonus sassy walk content.

Hi, I’m Angela and I’m a working actor and acting coach in Los Angeles. You’ve probably seen me on sitcoms or heard my voice on cartoons or video games being demure and mindfull. If this made you laugh, I’d love for you to drop a comment! Or share with a friend.

Casting breakdowns are just a starting point; it’s the unique spark you bring to the character that truly brings them to life! 🎭✨In acting, there’s no right or wrong—only the truth you bring to the character you create. Trust your instincts!

@jilleleakvo spoke about thinking of it like Swiss cheese a phrase she heard in another class

And Don’t forget if you are a voice actor, Voice Acting is Acting too!

If you want to become a stronger actor, then you definitely need to join one of my classes. Registration open now. Classes fill up quickly because most of my students hold onto their spots for 6 months to a year. Only 6 people per class.

Go to mic-up-vo.com to learn more.

"Embrace your weirdness! ✨ Being different isn’t just okay; it’s what makes you truly interesting! Our quirks and unique traits are what set us apart in a world that often tries to fit us into boxes. So let your true colors shine, dance to your own beat, and celebrate the beautifully odd parts of yourself. Remember, normal is overrated—your weirdness is your superpower! 💫💖 #squidgame @squidgamenetflix @squidgame.experience

Some of the most remarkable individuals throughout history have embraced their weirdness and transformed it into something extraordinary. Think about artists like Salvador Dalí or musicians like Queen—both were unapologetically unique, and their quirks fueled their creativity and innovation. Or even the guy who came up with squid games. Remember how we all felt when that came out?

It's those who dare to be different than the status quo who pave the way for change. Weirdness can lead to fresh perspectives, originality, and genuine connections, making the world a much richer place.

So when you embrace your own weirdness, you’re not just being true to yourself; you’re joining the ranks of all the awesome people that have changed the world by simply being who they are. After all, the best people aren’t just "normal"—they're wonderfully, gloriously weird! 🎉✨
And if you're a voice actor, I would love to support you on your journey. Check out one of my classes on mic-up-VO.com
