Zakat-ul-Fitr is a sacred obligation meant to purify our fast and bring joy to the poor before the day of Eid-ul-Fitr. Its purpose is to ensure that the most vulnerable members of the Muslim Ummah—the poor, widows, orphans, displaced families, and those struggling to survive—have food and dignity on the day of Eid.

The beauty of Zakat-ul-Fitr is that it is meant to be given before the Eid prayer, so that those in need can prepare, cook, and celebrate like every other Muslim family. Waiting until the last minute makes it difficult for these families to receive and benefit from it in time.

Once you know your dependents and those you intend to give Zakat-ul-Fitr for, it is best to fulfill this obligation early so it can reach the most vulnerable Muslims in time for Eid.

The Prophet ﷺ said:
"Whoever gives it before the Eid prayer, it is accepted as Zakat; and whoever gives it after the prayer, it is just a charity."

Let us fulfill this beautiful act of worship on time, so that struggling families can welcome Eid-ul-Fitr with dignity, food on their tables, and smiles on their faces.

May Allah [swt] accept our fasting, our charity, and our Zakat-ul-Fitr. Ameen. 🤲🌙✨

Kindly help repost this. Jazakumulah khairan and may Allah [swt] accepts our Sahum, Qiyam, and Good deeds [Ameen]

A lil back story into how it all started, so I got this dm just like the regular enquiry process. They came in for measurements and brought their fabric, it was late in the evening. It was nice meeting them, being the first time, i was wowed when I realised both of them came from outside London 😳🙊 this night????? They said it’s fine. I was very grateful because it means a lot.
.
Fast forward to fitting day, they came in about 7pm or so, not sure of the exact time but it was late in the evening as well. They loved their dresses on seeing it and I was happy they did. During the fitting, we were just having a chit chat and one of them said she had booked her coach for 10pm (the shock on my face 😳 she’s going all the way to Leicester and it’s about 3 hours by coach) I was like, ahhh, that’s a long journey. You came all the way from Leicester to London just for me to make your dress 🥺 The other person was going back to Peterborough that night as well, ahhh 😫, all these just for me to make your outfits. If anything, I was very grateful and I do not take it for granted. They left my place that night and I had to keep in touch just to be sure they got back to their various destinations safely.
.
First slide was after fitting while the last slide is today. This is just to say, I do not take the love and support I get for granted, I appreciate everyone who has ever supported me!!!!! 🙏 May God bless all that you do too 🙏 With all my love, Midey ❤️

Hand sewing is one of the most challenging task in garment designing but I’ll choose it over and over again than to trust this London weather 🌦️ I don’t know about other parts of the uk because I don’t live there but you see this London weather ehn 😂 if there’s anything like a bipolar weather then that’s the best way to discribe it 😂
.
As you step out going about your week today, this is a reminder for you to be prepared and not to trust this weather 😂 May it be a fruitful week for us all 🙏
