I cannot remember who I saw do this, but I immediately made my own royal council and I’ll be tagging some friends to join! 🏷️
I’m the type of leader that would rely heavily on other people to do the work for me. I tried to pick characters I genuinely think could govern, and keep me in check 😏 not just my favorites (though many are), but people I’d trust with war, diplomacy, trade, justice, secrets… and, naturally, revelry 💁🏼‍♀️
& My betrothed? He’s actually the master of coin and commerce, it’s a whole thing. But we’re in love, it can’t be helped 😂

This was actually so hard to pick a favorite song. The songs I never tire of vary wildly. This could have just as easily been something random like "Always Be My Baby" by Mariah Carey 😂

But I chose "Experience" by Ludovico Einaudi because it is one of the most beautiful pieces of music ever in my opinion. The emotions of it can feel so vast and varied depending on your mood while listening. It encompasses and expresses so much feeling in such a little bit of time.

Saturday shoutout to my sweet friend @midnight.mom.reader who gifted me another gorgeous Dramione binding- as well as a sign that now lives atop my bookshelf. A sweet friendship truly does refresh the soul.

Universal Truths by scullymurphy is a modern, Dramione take on Pride & Prejudice… and I simply adored it. Time for a reread? I mean, I am doing a year of Jane Austen reads. January was Pride & Prejudice and February is a P&P retelling/ variation/ adaptation… so this would actually qualify 🤣🙌

Here’s to trying new things!

I asked 12 friends for 1 recommendation each. I’m excited to dive into this list. Some have been on my tbr way too long and some I had never even heard of. Usually I’m too nervous to commit to something like this because I mood read like nobody’s business but I’m actually really looking forward to this.

I’m not reading them in any particular order (a lot will depend on library availability etc) but I plan on posting updates periodically.
