What if the change is YOU? Because it has to start with YOU.

For me, dance is more than movement; it is a tool for healing, expression, empowerment, and social transformation.

Through my dance practice and community work, I believe in creating positive change in the lives of children, young people, women, and young girls helping them build confidence, discover their potential, and believe in a better future.

Now in Bunia, Ituri, I am curious and eager to explore new possibilities, connect with communities, and use art to inspire meaningful change.
One movement, one person, one community at a time.

The change starts with us.

💃 In 2025, the project "Midundo Ya Amani ('Rhythms of Peace'): Dance for Sustainable Peace in the Grand Lac Region" demonstrated how movement and creative expression can transcend deep-seated social barriers to foster regional harmony.

💬 Reflecting on the Experience: "Physical, emotional, and social safe spaces make change possible. When we feel safe, we can show our most honest, joyful, creative, and generous selves. Dance helps us create these circles of trust and belonging. It encourages a deep sense of unity and harmony, both within and between us. This leads us to say that Midundo Ya Amani wasn’t about teaching dance. It was about using dance to guide young people to trust themselves and others, to realize the power of the tools within and around them, and to show up as peacebuilders for their community—to recognize their role as the caretakers of tomorrow, starting today. Midundo Ya Amani was a reminder of the power of dance as a catalyst for personal, interpersonal, and social transformation. As dancers, we speak to humans beyond the social barriers of race, religion, gender, and language. As artists, we have the power to circulate ideas that challenge the normalized social orders and power structures. Through this program, we witnessed how creative expression can unlock healing, inspire leadership, and offer a path forward in a region that has long suffered from conflict."
