Okay, okay…The one that had everybody asking:
“WHERE THE HELL IS THE TERIYAKI SALMON BOWL?!” 😂

Well… let us explain: Cooking with the season is fun and delicious. First Mango season came in and we got our hands on some plump riped on the vine mango to make the marinate and mango pico with for the Mexican Salmon Bowl.

But we noticed that you lowkey wanted the sticky teriyaki version.

So, guess what?
Our Teriyaki Salmon Bowl in all its saucy, fresh, and seriously satisfying glory is back on the menu!

Now the real question… who are you sharing this bowl with? 👀 Tag that person below!

Looking back to most of my 52 years lived I can’t remember a time when I have not fulfilled the role of a perpetual pleaser. Towards my parents (doing my best to get good grades, ashamed when I have failed to do so), towards my friends and family (afraid they wouldn’t like me if I were truly me or told them when I didn’t like something even though some were toxic), in society and in the work field, (feeling unworthy, trying to succeed), towards boyfriends (their pleasure before mine, body shaming and gaslighting me). I have never truly wielded my power. So it came as such a surprise when people close to me (who are not Bjorn, my mom or Aiden) showered me with words when thinking of me, like:

“A burst of joy, giving others permission to be loud and present as well, strong” @yoginiuncovered , “a special friend” @gwendolyn_emily_ , “proud of me, keep being me and doing my thing, keep growing and glowing in every stage” @charifa_janga , “all the beauty, love and energy I put into this world, a sun during the day and a beautiful star at night, keep shining, you are worthy” @angelalala_curacao , “May this year bring you more of these kind of experiences that embrace you for everything that you already are and is becoming” @mientjexoxo , “masha masha pabien dushi! stay as you are… kind soul, positive spirit and beautiful inside and out! Love you mucho dushi!” @brigitteenralphpeeps

I would never say these kind of things to myself. So, from the bottom of my heart I thank you for showing me how you see me. I have had a wonderful three days celebrating mini birthdays with friends who are family.

🌕 ceremony at Kabouterbos guided by @yoginiuncovered + saw fireflies for the first time,
🎂 drinks and a very special gift from @diantha.lightningblood at @munchies.curacao ,

💐 from @bjorn_muskus and @_aiden_mk from @bonaparteflowers
🍽️ dinner at @komecuracao @🥂🍰 🎶 amazing as always, a flower bouquet representing our son
🎈post bday brunch at @hoficascora receiving a huge 💐, a reiki with 🐴 gift certificate at @healing_hooves1.0 and the most beautiful 📖 nook/altar 🐉🔮.

Big hug and love to all for the heartfelt birthday wishes and gifts ❤️.

A weekend filled with people and activities that were in true alignment with me and soothed my nervous system.

Saturday floating and TCM with @mientjexoxo for her birthday at @zaza_movement_center as part of the wellness event organized by @iyengar.holistic on the end of February with a rare 6 planetary alignment of Mercury, Venus, Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune, and Uranus right after sunset. This was something else. We started with a gentle yoga led by @yoginiuncovered followed by acupuncture in both ears and a floating session on top of thick air mattresses in the pool. The wind and the gentle flow of the water was so soothing and when we could open our eyes the sky was lit with stars. Magical ✨. More of these same events will be organized at the end of each month until the end of May. Stay tuned by following @iyengar.holistic

Friendship, community support and the cutest and prettiest dachshund companion of @f_reshsip called Jaques at the Supernice Wellness Sunday event by @vegancuracaoevents at the Curaçao Aloe Farm.

Winter was not quiet. It was intentional😌✨

Behind the scenes, we were researching, testing, refining, rethinking.

Broths were adjusted.
Ingredients reconsidered.
Workflows sharpened.
Standards elevated.

Now we’re entering Spring!
Not louder, but better.

This season you’ll notice:
🍃New products and elevated rituals as part of your daily wellbeing routine
☕️Intentional upgrades
🔪Refined processes
🫱🏽‍🫲🏾A smoother experience

We are embracing moving with the natural rhythm, in cycles instead of linear. No more chasing trends, but we’d rather build a balanced routine together with you.

Welcome to the Spring evolution at Munchies🌿
