I just completed mixing @miidachu ‘s latest short film SOAKED which is bound to make some noise at festivals. In addition to being a very captivating and entertaining story, the sound is extremely creative and out of the box which made for a challenging, yet exciting process.

After three weeks in France I came back with a vision, to slow down and focus on some directing projects but my inbox had a different idea.

The last two months have been the busiest of my entire career, huge thank you to all the Directors, Producers and Collaborators who continue to welcome me as their Costume Designer.

Over the last two months I Costume Designed eight projects; Four shorts, two commercials and two features. I also got to attend 3 screenings/premieres of projects close to my heart.

None of this would have been possible without so many amazing people on my teams and in my court. Lots of love to all these incredible ACDs and Costumers, Intern, Monster Makers and Feline Supervisor✨❤️

As for my Side Quests I judged SDCC, spent many late nights torturing @trmnktz in the editing room and two weekend hauling and installing the newest housemate: Pool Table with @dailybiblequotes69

TAAF is proud to partner with @sundanceorg for the fourth year of the Sundance Institute | The Asian American Foundation Fellowship and Scholarship, welcoming 12 AAPI fellows and scholars working in film and television to immerse themselves in @sundanceorg's artist community, resources, and mentorship to push their projects toward the screen.

"Our 2026 STAATUS Index found that 39% of Americans can't name a single famous Asian American, and when people do picture us on screen, martial arts stars are often the first thing that come to mind," said Norman Chen, CEO of TAAF. "We're excited to welcome this year's cohort, whose films span horror, comedy, and documentary, family sagas and heist films, showcasing the range of storytelling this community has to offer."

“Through funding and mentorship, we’re helping artists bring bold, authentic stories to the screen and reach audiences across communities,” said Hajnal Molnar-Szakacs, Director, Artist Accelerator and Women at @sundanceorg. “We’re excited to champion this year’s fellows and scholars and see where their voices take us.”

Each artist will receive the Artist Accelerator Program's year-round support: hands-on guidance and bespoke project support, access to script consultancies, invitations to professional development programming, and more. Additionally, Fellows will receive a $20,000 non-recoupable grant and Scholarship recipients are paired with a Sundance Institute alumni mentor. We are grateful to our founding partners @officialpandaexpress and @macfound for making this possible.

I just moved out of the little Glendale backhouse I dwelled in for four years. It’s the longest I’ve lived in one place in my adult life. So much has happened here. I’m a completely different person from who I was when I moved in. I’m grateful for all the inspiration it has nourished. A house is like a ship, and this little ship has sailed so much farther than it could have ever fathomed 🫶
