Freshman year was one to remember💛🖤 “Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, and faithful in prayer.” -Romans 12:12

To the game that has provided me with more than I could have ever dreamt of, thank you.

It’s not easy saying goodbye to something you’ve spent most of your life doing. This ride hasn’t been easy, and we’ve hit a fair share of speed bumps and pot holes along the way, but I wouldn’t change a thing.

Without the heartbreak, the tears, the joy, the success and the failures from this game and all that came along with it, I wouldn’t be the person I am today. I am beyond grateful to have been able to end my softball career at such an amazing program, surrounded by some of the best people in this sport. Thank you for fixing something that you didn’t break, and giving this girl her sparkle back. God’s plans are always greater, and He is always working for our good! I am filled with so much gratitude and joy for the amount of people this game has brought into my life that have turned into more than just teammates and coaches, but into family.

For those who are still playing the game or just starting —just have fun. There’s always something to smile about. You have a finite amount of time playing this game, don’t take a second of it for granted. Be in the moment & soak it all in, the ride is rocky but it’s so worth it.

I truly was living the dream, and for that I am forever grateful. Thank you to everyone who has been apart of this 19 year journey. Softball, you’ve been my favorite chapter so far, but I am so excited for the plans that God has in store for me in this life.

11 signing out!
