At 27, I was nearly $70,000 in debt and had no real direction.

2025 what a roller coaster!!

On behalf of Romi and I, We are excited to introduce to you Sofia Arizona Basch. Sofia was born at 10:18 AM local time in Cordoba, Argentina. She was 4.295 KG (which is 9 pounds 7 ounces)! Here in Cordoba, someone might refer to her as a gordita! Sofia, which has Greek origins, comes from the word wisdom, and starts with the letter S: in memory of my mother’s father, Samuel, who was a wonderful father, grandfather, and husband. Arizona, in typical Romi/Mike naming fashion is a combination of two words of two different languages: Ari is the Hebrew word for Lion and Zon comes from the Spanish word Corazon, meaning heart. As all three Niños De Basch have a lion incorporated into their names, Romi continúes to proudly be La Madre De Leones! #MeetSofia #Bebita #growingfamila #Cordobesasarethebest!

Coming off the DNC last week, I feel a new found optimism about what might be possible for this November’s election. I don’t post often, especially given the heaviness in the world at the moment, even further exacerbated in my world post October 7th. That being said, this November has two very different options to vote for in the election. I know some of my more independent or moderate friends don’t know much about Kamala and many of you have voiced skepticism. I encourage you to get to know her and what she stands for. Watch her speech from the DNC as a starting point. As a country, we must find optimism, joy, hope, possibility for the future. After all, it is what we are leaving our kids too. Much is at stake. Was amazing spending the week in Chicago with you! @baumoverbaghdad @jessiej28 @grant_hughes_ @andyrabens.
