Sneak preview of ‘JUMP’, a short film we made in collaboration with Bytedance. This was a great opportunity to see what could be done all on the new Seed stack, a single model that can do image, video & audio. We are entering the age of truly multimodal content generation models. Some honest feedback on the Seed model itself that essentially comprises of three models. Seedream 5 Pro - the image generation model creates beautiful images, with excellent photographic styled optics (thats how I used it), but still suffers with smaller text or multiple layers of context, it can begin to collapse if you tell it to do too many things, but its still my favourite general image model right now. Seedance 2.5 - the gold standard of all video models on the market right now, hands down the best results on output. But its EXPENSIVE! especially if you are inputting video in vid2vid, additionally if you render likeness of real people you must gain extra creative rights to input realistic humans. That being said Byteplus have process for that to be alleviated, but... its a process. Seed-Audio-1 - The real step change I experienced working on jump was using the new seed-audio-1 model from Byteplus. The quality is not the best, but it rendered the entire sound bed, voices, SFX, room tone, music. All as stems and then also as sound bed. As i said the quality is still something to be desired in terms of the actual file quality, but the results are pretty spot on, and it will only get better with seed-audio-1.5 very soon to hit the market. Audio has always been the straggler in Gen AI models, but its nice to see byteplus making a serious model that is extremely versatile. Its incredibly useful and fun to use! I hope the above can help others pick and choose their tool of choice, knowing the pros and cons without doing it the long hard way. Full film to be released in October. Here's how things are going on my end! After a deep dive on Noémie Ducimetiére/Noum's works I have found these releases. She has done a plethora of other works on soundtracks for radio shows, podcasts, films, and documentaries. She is a member of Gentle Mystics, who I previously posted, and a group named Idrîsî Ensemble. Noum is very talented and her profile here on Instagram can take you to all the places you need to go to find out more about her music. Should I track another member of Gentle Mystics onto this project? Idrîsî Ensemble? Another collaborator of Noum's? Keep appreciating music! #music #archive

“I Tried My Best” The finale of the ‘Inconvenient Realities’ body of work. Inconvenient Realities, part of the Empire project nominated for the @lumen_prize 2025 in Moving Image Category, to be displayed in the @vamuseum in September. A collection of vignettes assembled through fine tuning of 35mm film from the 40s through to the 90s. All of the sequences have a sense of pathos as we look at reconstructions of the past, no longer true but come from a place that is true. #ai #aiart #digitalart #stablediffusion #flux @fellowship.xyz Curated by @alexcartagenamex
