🎬 Here’s a cue from my orchestral rescore of Andy’s Aquatic Adventures! 🌊🎶

Following direction from Mark Jones, the series producer at the BBC Natural History Unit in Bristol, I reimagined the music with the aim of preserving the series’ lighthearted comedy while exploring how a unified score, using dedicated musical themes, could establish a consistent musical identity across the series, rather than relying on separate library tracks as the show currently does!

A huge thank you to @mikemrhappy for bringing the violin parts to life with his beautiful performance! 🎻

This is just quick little dump of some of the clips at hand. I was so overwhelmed with gratitude how many people came as I haven’t been in Bristol in over 6 years and yet I saw so many lovely old friends. Thank you so much 🙏♥️♥️

With @bertysoundz & @mikemrhappy

I haven’t played many shows in the last few years due to various life stuff but also because I needed space to do a whole boat load of song writing. Some of the songs I’ll be playing at this gig will be for the first time EVER. If you’re in town it would be mean the world to us to see you there. I am looking forward to meeting some of you fabulous human beans.

THIS SATURDAY 22nd AUGUST we’re off to Weston-Super-Mare for a pay-what-you-want eclectic punk freakout at @thebritweston with @lithium.kicks and @mikemrhappy. It’s a very exciting lineup and promises to be a hell of a lot of fun.

Then not this week but the week after that, FRIDAY 28th AUGUST we’re off to Chippenham to support the pop-punk chaos of @pebble_daisy and @battery.acid.band at The Old Road Tavern courtesy of @vamospromo . Can’t wait for this one!

Thank you to The Lizard of @nomadlozars fame for the awesome footage of us opening for @thewildhearts last month. Extra special thank you to Nestor from @metallisedband for making us sound absolutely huge on the night, the camera doesn’t do it justice but our feet were vibrating and you made us sound great, cheers man.

Many more shows to come! Seeya there! ❤️

Ffern, a water vole living in a small Welsh pond. Filmed over the changing seasons, the film reveals some of the challenges faced by this secretive species, from the daily struggles of surviving alongside other pond inhabitants to the dramatic transformation of the landscape as winter arrives.
