🗳 It’s 60 days until the 2021, City of Sydney election, and I would love your support. 👉🏻 I’m so proud to be part of such a wonderful, experienced and dedicated team. I’ve also been fortunate enough to know most of our team for many years. Their hard work and genuine love for our City and it’s communities is real, and very inspiring. My kind of people. 🙋🏻‍♂️ Under the leadership of @clovermoore - the City of Sydney has developed a global reputation for delivering award winning facilities, protecting and enhancing open space, promoting design excellence, delivering new transport options, and expanding the City’s cultural and creative life. This leadership has also initiated progressive solutions to complex city social problems, such as affordable housing and homelessness. Initiatives very close to my heart. 💁🏻‍♂️ Our team lead by Lord Mayor Clover Moore includes, Deputy Lord Mayor Jess Scully and Councillors Robert Kok, Jess Miller and Philip Thalis, William Chan, Elaine Czulkowski, Emelda Davis, Adam Worling and myself. 🙏🏻 We’d love your support in the upcoming election, and we promise to do our absolute best, and more, for you, our communities and our City. Meet the team via the link in my bio 🙌🏻 #TeamClover #Sydney Authorised by Frank Littlewood, 25 Francis Street, East Sydney NSW 2010.

🌈 Rainbow mode on. Thank you to our Surry Hills Business Partnership, and our President, Leigh Harris for advocating for the Rainbow Pathway, and to Lord Mayor Clover Moore’s, City of Sydney for bringing this project to life. Please get down and check it out, it’s incredibly selfie worthy. 🌳 Equality Green at Prince Alfred Park holds a special place in the hearts of so many. Over 30,000 people gathered here on 15 November 2017 in support of the Australian marriage (equality) law proposal. #community #sydney #cityofsydney #diversity #inclusion #equality #teamclover

👉🏻 Thread Together on Oxford St was officially opened this morning by Lord Mayor Clover Moore, located at 118 Oxford Street, Darlinghurst, and supported by Councillor @jessmillersydney - The event, led by CEO of Thread Together, Anthony Chesler and Founder, Andie Halas was limited due to social distancing, to 15 guests, each with a vested interest or connection to the organisation that supports the vulnerable, by providing necessary brand new clothing and accessories. 🙏🏻 The opening of a permanent Hub in Darlinghurst allows for daily access for individuals in vulnerable situations, not limited to the homeless or unemployed, but also victims of domestic abuse, Indigenous communities, refugees and asylum seekers. The Clothing Hub will operate from today by appointment only, which is managed via invitations from caseworkers or by direct contact with Thread Together. 👉🏻 All clothing is displayed in a retail environment, providing a dignified way for vulnerable people to access new, excess clothing that they can have styled by staff for their particular needs. All clothing is free of charge and is not limited in quantity. ℹ️ Andie Halas, Founder of Thread Together, always envisioned providing those in need with a retail store just like any other that you would see, “where vulnerable people could have access to beautiful new clothing that they could coordinate for their relevant needs at no cost. I founded Thread Together to ensure that we were able to distribute new excess clothing to people in need in a dignified manner. I have always believed - when people are at their worst, they deserve the best. 🙌🏻 Congratulations again Thread Together, and welcome to Darlinghurst. Follow their work here 👉🏻 @thread_together

When our Lord Mayor of Sydney @clovermoore stopped by last year to congratulate Tony @bq_doan and his restaurant @s25restaurant on their support for the homeless and marginalised, we had no idea what the world would look like today. We hadn’t even heard of the term COVID-19. After a few well deserved weeks off, Tony and his chef Ken Pongsakorn return to Darlinghurst tonight and are open for take away and delivery services. Tony and his restaurant support the @girlsandboysbrigadesyd and @stjohnsdarlo ‘s Rough Edges. They are also a regular supporter of our @darlodarlings Darlo Pantry. Welcome back Tony, thank you for being such a wonderful contributor to our community. -Mike.
