Italy is loving @lastshot.film by Parham Rahimzadeh @pietparham 🇮🇹😍
Let's recap the latest awards:

💥POP JURY AWARD
@lucaniafilmfestival

💥 YOUNG AWARD
@fmk_festival

💥 AUDIENCE AWARD - Best International Short Film
@molisecinema

💥 STUDENTS' AWARD - Best International Short Film
@molisecinema

"With subtle direction that lets the story speak for itself, compelling performances, and editing that grips the viewer through to the very last scene, Last Shot reminds us of the power and communicative reach of photography — a discipline that, alongside journalism, bears witness, giving voice to those silenced in Palestine."

Thank you to the juries, the audience, and the festivals for such recognition.

👀More screenings coming up! 🔜

Some time ago, @karimmrabti and @pietparham sent me on a quest to photograph Rotterdam through the eyes of one of the characters from the short Last Shot, who like me, is a newcomer.

That day felt like a reflection of how I first saw the city: big and overwhelming, grey and rainy, with lots of waters (for someone who couldn’t swim) and unfamiliar faces. And yet vibrant, restless, full of potential but only if you really dare.

Seeing it later on the big screen during @iffr , in a film addressing the topics I care about, was quite surreal.

It's a wrap @iffr 2026.
We premiered @lastshot.film and it kicked off the festival circuit for this fantastic film.

Excited about the launch of the hub
@filmplatform.rotterdam for filmmakers in The Hague and Rotterdam.

Reconnected with colleagues, friends, and strengthened orher connections. Meeting people to work with on the next projects is always refreshing and energizing.

Until next year ✌🏼
