One year later, and what started with “Santa, Please” quickly evolved into a full-scale, original Christmas album. I am so blessed and grateful to be part of the ‘Swoon’ team — @ryan_peter_murphy @dusan.wav @harryscutt (and our coach @gallimgmt) It’s hard to put into words what this past year has been. Months of writing, an entire summer spent recording and producing, and 24/7 days bringing these songs to life. Being able to contribute as a pianist, songwriter, and arranger throughout the process has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my career, and equally challenging. A special thanks to the additional songwriters —@thezecavaco @aprillsutherland @iamashmusic and @deanweaver_ for helping write on “I Know Santa’s Real”/“Gift You Are to Me”/“The Star” “Snowed In”/ & “H.O.M.E” And another very special thanks to all the wonderful musicians who poured their talent and expertise into every recording session! A huge thank you to the phenomenal @callumau for bringing the arrangements and orchestrations to life @famesproject 🎻 @britishgrovestudios 🎺 We set out to create something that felt both timeless and new, and I couldn’t be prouder of the result. What a joyful evening at Jazz Vespers! We shared great music, warm conversation, s’mores, and the simple gift of being together. During the evening, hygiene kits were assembled for people experiencing homelessness, offering a meaningful reminder that generosity can begin with small, practical acts of care. When we each share what we can, those simple contributions can become something truly helpful for someone else. Thank you to everyone who joined us for the music, mingling, and meaningful moments. We are already looking forward to the next gathering. You are never alone, and you are always welcome here. What was your favorite part of Jazz Vespers? Share your favorite moment with us in the comments, we’d love to hear what made the evening special for you! #jazzvespers #musicconcert #manhattanbeach #communitychurch #liveconcert

“Hotel California” by The Eagles (or more accurately…Eagles), arranged for the @mcpheebigband by @miles.mcphee21. This chart is very long and definitely a blow, but it’s one of my favorite tunes I’ve ever performed! I’m overall very happy with the band’s first run of it! Here’s a segment from my stand cam. Congrats to Miles on yet another killer arrangement! Enjoy! #trumpet #leadtrumpet #bigband #highnotes #bigbandjazz

“You and the Night and the Music” arranged by @callumau. (Rehearsal stand cam and gig clip). I’m always so honored and excited to play lead trumpet on any of Callum’s arrangements. This is from an earlier album called “Songs and Stories”. The lead was originally recorded by @louistpt. That record is incredible, and so is Callum’s brand new album “Sing Seven Seas”! Please check both of these out if you have not already! #bigband #trumpet #leadtrumpet #fyp #highnotes
