Rose City Comic Con recap 🌹✨️ WHAT A WEEKEND! It was really nice getting to let Mado get one last comp in after all her upgrades & im so honored to have gotten Runner up advanced craftsmanship! Biggest thank you to the judges @hokuprops @likovacs @beardlessprops for your judging, feedback & expertise! I was beyond excited when I saw yall were our panel of judges! Thank you to @noodlecosplay & @d0egred for being handlers for myself & all our friends backstage. Holy crap. 70 yards of fabric, 3000 beads, hundreds, and hundreds of hours of sewing. Last night, I won Best in Show at @rosecitycc for the cosplay contest. I still can't believe it. Working on this for 18 months (on and off) and doing upgrades on Mina really paid off. This has been a dream dress since I was about 5 years old. Thank you to the amazing judges @beardlessprops @likovacs @hokuprops Sammy for this amazing opportunity. This trophy is absolutely amazing. Thank you to the show runners and staff at the cosplay contest. This has continued to be an amazing show, one of my personal favorites in the PNW. I am so proud of everyone who entered. I love this community. I love talking to people about sewing and crafting. It was amazing to talk to so many people over the past few days. I love seeing all the hard work that everyone put in their costumes! Shout out to my husband Grant for being an amazing handler. I know its alot when I wear these big dresses. Thank you for supporting me! Shout out to my close group of friends 🧡 Rose, Leslie and Seaver I have some big plans in store going forward, so stay tunned for that. WOW ECCC IS MY FAVOURITE CON EVER AND IT JUST KEEPS GETTING BETTER EVERY YEAR 😭😭 I miss it already it was so nice meeting new people n hanging out with old con friends n catching up - every time its like a whole year hasn't passed it's crazy. It's also the only con i get to hang out and cosplay with my best friend @ruby_coconut so i might be a little biased but ECCC is the best con ever and I can't wait for next year (which we already have mostly planned out tbh) 😭😭 And thanks @k8tetimm for the photo of our hellfire group on Thursday 😭😭

Where to start! This weekend was truly wonderful! I got to see so many friends, and make some new ones! I met the cast of critical role again and got to show Marisha by Keyleth and my Laudna. While we got into place during the photo op Liam and Marisha were getting excited over Pate then loudly says “he’s floating!” Also Travis face at Pate kills me 😂 I decided to host a trinket trade meetup with @the.microcosologist and boy did you guys show up! I’ll definitely be bringing this back for Rose city and next year for Emerald as well! I was @chronicallyofflinecosplay handler for the crown! He absolutely killed it and if you are following that gem of a human you should be!! I remembered to make at least some content, shoutout to everyone who went along with my ideas! Seeing all the critters was just the biggest joy, the community is truly amazing! I’m so glad that one random day back in 2020 I decided to start watching 💙 Until the next one!!

💐Kumoricon recap💐 I think I'll be yapping about this con for a long time, i had such an incredible time out in the PNW! I only took a few pics at @rosecitycc . This weekend was soooo fun! I got to do repair with the @pnwguildofcosplayers on friday and Sunday. On Saturday I was a helper for @milesdoescosplay at the costume contest ,I am so proud of him yall! This was a low key, relaxing con but I loved it! If I met someone during this weekend, feel free to say hi! My next convention is Kumo in October.

Wow! 🩵 Just what an amazing night! I was super lucky to take home best beginner at Rose City Comic Con. I truly was not expecting to win at all and was in shock the entire time. I did get teary eyed on stage 🥹 Out of the few competitions I have done, this was by far amazing. You do not understand when I say the level of TALENT that was featured! Every single costume I saw I automatically assumed was in the masters category. Every single person I talked to, I learned about a new skill whether sewing, wig styling, or foam work. Plus the absolute kindness and just HYPE everyone gave each other. Saturday made me realize why cosplay competition is so magical. Everyone competing is doing it for shear joy, creativity, and friendship. I’m so looking forward to seeing the people I met on Saturday at future conventions, competitions, and just gushing over their work on Instagram and in person. Every single costume on stage was a WINNER 🏆 Special congratulations to @likovacs for winning best in show. I swear they perfectly placed each individual strand on their wig. I want to thank all the competitors, staff members, and judges who worked so hard to put this all together. I tagged as many people as I could find and please let me know of anybody I missed. Please please please follow all these amazing creators who truly light up this world with their work. 🩷🩷🩷 I also cannot end this post without thanking my amazing friends who dealt with me and all my bags, and my crazy Saturday schedule, not to mention the small panic attack I had (lol, had too much caffeine. I’m organizing a panel proposal for PAX West 2025 called “The Cosplay Journey: From First Builds to the Con Floor.” This panel will be a supportive, real-talk space where cosplayers at all levels share how they got started, how they’ve grown, and what keeps them going...through new skills, setbacks, and those chaotic con crunches. Cosplay can feel intimidating whether you're just starting or trying to level up, but it's also a powerful creative outlet. I want this panel to celebrate that. Creativity is good for us.
