Please join us in welcoming our upcoming Hartford Print Workshop Guest Artist: Edwige Charlot! ✨

We are excited to have Edwige working in our printmaking studios from Oct. 19 - 23 to produce an edition of work in collaboration with Master Printer Irene Michnicki from @milestonegraphics !

Edwige Charlot is a French-born Haitian immigrant artist and designer. As a descendant of the homeisland of Ayiti, Charlot uses nature-based motifs to grapple with Caribbean and Creole identities and culture. In their artistic practice, Charlot borrows from installation, collage, and printmaking to create works from a lexical visual Creole language. Their transdisciplinary approach blends and mixes media and techniques into a visual creole.

Charlot has been a presenter and panelist for the Americans for the Arts, Artist Communities Alliance Annual Conference, the College Art Association Annual Conference, Yale School of Art, Fordham University, World Council of Maine, and Bomb Diggity Arts, among many other prestigious accomplishments!

We cannot wait to welcome the artist and the master printer to our studios.

We would like to give special thanks to the Hartford Art School Endowment Inc. @haseinc for making this event possible.

Another incredible year at the IFPDA and the Brooklyn Print Fair 2026.
Four days filled with amazing prints from around the world and wonderful people—both old friends and new folks.
It is so nice to be part of such a passionate community, and it was especially lovely to reconnect with other Tamarindos at the Brooklyn Print Fair!
See you next year, with lots of love!

Join a group of CT artists...

- all exhibiting in the Unleashed exhibit @fivepointsartsct -

...for an artist talk about their works and processes.

In-person Artist Talk: Friday, March 6, 6:30 PM
33 Main St., Torrington, Connecticut

Included in *Unleashed* (with 7 other of my prints on handwoven paper) is "Gilded Age," 2023 a drypoint monoprint that owes much to Irene Michnicki, collaborative printer and owner @milestonegraphics whose care and thought about the printing process led me through an image and process I hadn't explored before.

I’m excited to finally share my latest print “Five Flowers” with you. Made in collaboration with printmaker Irene Michnicki of @milestonegraphics in Connecticut. This is a beautiful print since the distinguishing feature of the lithograph process is that it is able to capture all the nuances of the pencil mark and textures of the drawing. Drawn on a large 500 pound limestone slab I created this image in the studio of Milestone Graphics where it was then printed on a velvety soft Arches printmaking paper. Irene was then able to create an ink color that closely matched the soft grey of graphite.
It’s a bit more expensive than my previous prints but each print is basically an original work of art since so much care and expertise is put into producing a single print. I appreciate all your support and hope you have some space on your walls for something unique and new from me.
Available now in my shop.

18 x 24

my brain has been buzzing with print love all week in spite of my springtime sickness—it was so awesome to be part of this event even in a small way. loved meeting all the fellow print nerds at the fair and of course looking at the incredible art! TYSM to all the organizers, publishers, artists, and event staff who made the weekend happen. (i tried to tag all the artists and presses i remembered from these pics, instagram stalking to find them only takes me so far, so if you know their socials feel free to tag them in too!)

We had such an amazing time at the Brooklyn Fine Art Print Fair. The energy and excitement was off the charts. We were honored to participate and showcase all the work we’re doing at Obee Editions. Made many new friends and caught up with many old friends.

Swipe for images from our time in Brooklyn.

Much love and appreciation to @annshafer7 and @luther.printshop and the whole @powerhouse_arts team for putting on such an amazing fair. 🙏

Final day at the inaugural Brooklyn Print Fair, just a few shots from around the space and of the amazing people who shared it all. The whole thing was such a whirlwind of people and prints, it’s hard to believe that it’s over, but I am thrilled that CCP could participate.
