AFJA was proud to participate in the official Los Angeles World Cup Fan Zone with the City of Downey! ⚽️🌎

A huge thank you to the City of Downey, Council Member Horacio Ortiz, Council Member Mario Trujillo, and our partners at the @columbiaspace center for recommending AFJA as a Downey-based nonprofit organization to activate at this incredible community event.

From our Soccer Goal Game and Prize Wheels to hands-on STEM in Sports activities, families learned about AFJA’s mission to grow the game of soccer—both at home and abroad.

Through AFJA Sports Labs, we use the power of play to bring Sports + STEM together and make science engaging for young people.

Want AFJA Sports Labs at your local school or summer camp? Send us a message!

Big shout out to the team at @besocialproductions for producing one of the best Fan Zones in Los Angeles.
