ASHES TO ASHES When two cousins mix up their Grandmother’s ashes with the family’s cat, they have 24 hours to sort out who’s who before the whole family says goodbye to the wrong urn. Ashes to Ashes is a comedy about grief, but it refuses to treat loss with hushed reverence or predictable sentimentality. Instead, it exposes the absurdity, the mess, and the laughter that often sits beneath tragedy. This short film reminds us that even in our darkest moments life will still make us laugh, and that laughter is often the glue that holds families together. The Music video for Punching Bag is officially released today 🙌 A lot of hard work has gone into this so a big shout out to my very talented cousin Sean Magill and his partner in crime Daniel Sajták for all their efforts in creating this video. Shot in Blean woods and a green screen studio in London over two days last year, this is the result. Sean came to see me play in London last year and after the show asked me if he could make me a music video for Punching Bag. Of course I said yes, but in the back of my mind wasn’t sure what sort of level we would be operating at. Rest assured, the high standards, attention to detail and professionalism was on point from the get go and I then knew I was in good hands. Also a shout out to @miliacam0 for her contribution throughout the shoot, couldn’t have done it without you. Please comment, share and like the video on here and YouTube as this helps out massively.
