Worried your baby might have reflux, Torticollis or a lip or tongue tie? Comment “tie” and I’ll send you the link to the resource filling the gap in infant oral ties care for parents. You deserve a clear, easy-to-understand resource with education around oral ties, why a functional eval is important and a social media post can’t diagnose, the care team, what to expect, pre-release activities focused on the whole body, parent self-care, soothing prep, and step-by-step photographed post-op activities (other than wound care which is provider specific) along with tutorial videos. I spent over a year working on YBTCB after going through the ties journey with 4 of my own babies only to learn something new I was never told each time as I went down rabbit holes as a practitioner. I saw too many parents coming to see me AFTER a frenectomy instead of before and so much misinformation on social media that I couldn’t keep up trying to respond to everyone. I’m thrilled to offer this to you with a community and printed options coming soon.

All of the activities in Your Baby’s Tie Care Bestie are truly worth it. Go through them all!

You prepare for labor... but do you prepare for AFTER?

As a doula, I see so many families focus entirely on the birth — and then feel overwhelmed once baby is home. Let’s change that.

Here’s why setting up for postpartum success is JUST as important as your birth plan!

1️⃣ Fuel your healing – Your body just did something incredible. Nutrient-dense meals support milk supply, hormone balance, and energy. (Yes, frozen pizzas count. But there’s better options👇)

2️⃣ Accept help BEFORE you need it – Schedule meal deliveries, a postpartum doula visit, or a friend to hold baby while you shower. Put it on the calendar now.

3️⃣ Rest like it’s your job – Because it is. Healing takes weeks, not days. Give yourself permission to stay in bed.

💡 I recommend @milkyoatco – hot, healthy meals delivered to your door so you can actually eat with one hand.

My Postpartum Guide! From a mom of 2 who supports low tox and sustainable brands.

Postpartum is unlike anything. It’s is beyond intense, beautiful, emotional - I felt rebirthed each time as a woman and mom. Babies normally don’t need very much in the early days - it’s is the mom who needs immense care in order for her to recover. Remember you are left with a plate sized wound inside of you! Take it easy and get support. In my opinion a baby registry should be full of postpartum care rather than cute outfits the baby will probably never even wear.

One of the first questions I ask parents is about TTC, pregnancy, and the birth experience. It’s so important for parents to process things they have blocked out, but also to consider the impact on their baby and the WHY behind their baby’s discomfort or difficulties.

There is always a valid reason for a baby’s behavior, we just need to listen. Which is exactly what I do in my integrative approach to care. I look at how the whole family ecosystem impacts mom & baby as whole separate and intertwined persons. I work with baby, not on baby, and that matters because consent and listening to the body matters.

Struggling with reflux, colic, oral ties, or something that just feels off? Feel free to drop a question below or reach out for an in person or virtual consult 💖 I take several insurance plans and can help you plan for all of this while still pregnant, too!
