Solid 52 Flathead smashing the 3.75 Suspect in Baitfish colour from Crushcity customs. This rig has to be my go to for the creeks at this time of year. The weedless EWG from baitjunkie skips so well paired up with the 3.75 Suspect. Thanks again Rapala Australia, keen to keep using these lures.

Fun day on the water over the weekend with a couple jewies deciding to play the game and then some good fun on the flats to finish off. A feed of flathead for dinner! Hard to complain!

Reading structure, finding bait and adjusting your lure presentation to suit the conditions are all important when targeting jewfish and every slab of silver that hits my net is a step closer to me figuring out patterns and habits of bigger and badder ones.
What’s your favourite way to target mulloway ?
