Faith, Family, and so much Fun! 🥰

Leaving Seattle also meant leaving behind a church that meant so much to us. Me and the fam were pretty darn sad.

But our God is gracious, so we find ourselves again in spaces that feel familiar, yet so new! It’s refreshing to be here @thehouseest the past couple of months💛

Thank you @johntermini for giving us your time to chat before service. We’re so grateful for you and @katie_fay_ for giving it your all to this beautiful and impactful community. What’s happening here is beyond what I can describe, but I know the best is yet to come! Congratulations😍
✨HAPPY 2ND BIRTHDAY, THE!!✨

FAM TIME! 😍✨

All she wanted to do on her birthday was dress up as Asha from the new Disney movie “Star”⭐️ and eat cauliflower crust cheese pizza!🍕 But the evening led us to D&B’s after where uncle Z totally made her night by getting her her first big squishmallow! Happy girl💜

Thanks @nikkijovenal for the sweet surprise as well as being the main sponsor for @pieology 😂🫶🏼 Love you!

God’s LOVE has been my consistent experience all year.. There’s truly nothing in this world like it❤️

I’ve surrendered and surrendered, and yet I prepare.

I hope you all have a safe and memorable NYE!!✨

Shortly after my visit to Washington for the first time, a customer at Helmut Lang who was visiting from Seattle told me as I was ringing her up, “The air is fresh, so much to do. I love it.”

I went home to tell Chris, “I wanna move to Washington. The air is fresh. He said, “Okay, let’s go.” 😂 Legit legit story.

In 2016, with no ample time to really plan things out, we packed our bags anyway and left Vegas with our first baby @seenonceline_ 😍

Washington, you’ve been so good to us. What a f-ing ride it’s been the past seven years in this land of extremes!

We’re never gonna be done exploring this stand out beauty of a place—that we call our second home worth coming back to visit every chance we get. Core memories and many firsts were made here with our babies 🥲❤️

The amount of charm it has to offer far exceeds the cons and, “but it’s so rainy,” chatter. You have to live here with an open mind to appreciate and understand what it truly is about ✨🌲❄️☕️⛴️🦉🍎🪻🏕️🦌🏔️☀️☔️🐇🧗🏼‍♀️🌊🐿️ 🐻🌷🏟️🏞️🏂🌳🎣🏙️🥾🍁🐋🍄🛶⛄️🪵🔥🍲🍂🚴🦬💐🌻🌦️🫐🍣🐍🚈🌯💙💚

The best part is the people in it. The people who beautifully belong in our hearts. The solids. You know who you are! 🥰 I love you fam!!!!!!! See you soon and drink lots of hot cocoa and cider for us this season okay!

This was you on your way to the airport on Monday✈️ The next slide is a video of you waving👋🏼 to the views at @disneyaulani right after you checked in.

Onyx, I’m so happy to be your mom. Though I equally love you and your sisters the same, it just hits different in my heart when you take my face and kiss me on both cheeks and ending the smooch on my lips! Sound effects and all! 🤣😭🥺

You’re a climber of all things, a handy helper, a great observer, and a handsome lil’ hammah who is super passionate when it comes to getting what you want!

I still haven’t gotten over the overwhelming fact that you’re really here and that I get to love you up!! 🥰 You’re growing growing growing and I’m crying crying crying.

Happy 2nd Birthday Son! You’re my whole world and I love you so much!!

@realonyxrealm_ 🥳🫶🏼⏰ It’s fun o’clock!!

Just two hours after we landed in Hawaii we said ✌🏼peace out to the kids and went straight to a place that’s been on my radar.

✨@herringbonewaikiki✨ is located at the @intlmktplace and is one of many restaurants managed by Aoki Group.

We were welcomed by beautiful Tara whom I was so looking forward to meeting! Her full of heart hospitality really made our dine much more enjoyable than we could’ve imagined❤️ And the connection we made with our friendly server rings true to the idea of the Aoki Group, “Making friends while eating great food.” 🫶🏼

Herringbone’s link to their neighboring community doesn’t go unnoticed as their garden lanai’s lush greenery from @maris_urbangarden 🌱🪴 adds so much beauty to their open-air concept.

For starters, I love extra protein in my salad so the pipikaula “salted dried beef” really balanced it out. Chris already knew I was looking for salmon so say no more when he spotted the Big Glory Bay King Salmon on the menu. Did they read my mind that I prefer the skin super crispy on the side?! The best🫶🏼

A couple of surprises—the East and West Coast Oysters🦪 which happened to be from the #pnw down our side struck conversation immediately, since you know, we live there now 😆 I love their unique take on a mignonette adding hints of kimchi. And then the Li hing Mango Crepe Cake was so appealing that I couldn’t stop until it was, well, gone. 😂

One of our best date nights yet, so thank you Herringbone for the memories!✨ We’ll be back super soon for your weekend brunch! ✈️ 💨🍍🥞🍳🧇😍🫶🏼

Today is Lunar New Year!!🌙🧧💵🥢🥟🥡🥠🍚🧨🎊🐰🇨🇳🪢🎋🌕

Last weekend we attended @bellevuecollection annual festivities at Bellevue Square. Our family loves engaging in this cultural celebration, but let me tell you, if you’re going to observe this lively event, DO support Asian-inspired cuisines to get the full experience! ✔️

We chose @baronsseattle for one good reason: their Signature Peking Duck, which happens to be organic. 😄👏🏼

I haven’t ate duck in years, and as a health coach I wanna remind you, regardless of your diet, “food diversity” can express many positive things like receiving an array of nutrients, in much the same way the high iron in duck would benefit someone like me whose anemic. I was pleased by how satisfying (and not gamey) it was when paired perfectly with the sides it came with. Opening our palate to geographically varied foods from time to time is a good idea! 👍🏼

Thank you Baron’s Sino Kitchen and Bar for having us try your most raved about dish! It was a delightful experience❤️ We felt relaxed in dim light, mused over at the chef roasting duck in authentic Beijing ovens, and enjoyed our conversation with kind servers who were always ready to help.

✨May your Year of the Rabbit be full of good health, peace, and joy!!✨

Last summer we were so eager to find breakfast spots that serve gluten free pancakes for Viktoria. I’m so glad we found Eques located at the @hyattregencybellevue!

I fancy restaurants who celebrate their local farms and bakeries, and Eques does just that by honoring the #pnw with their traceable ingredients. Additionally, its cozy and friendly vibes really sets the mood for a great start to your morning.

For a second I thought it was my special day as I was sipping n/a Bloody Mary and the tiramisu pancake came out of nowhere, and after Viktoria sang “Maligayang bati” to herself she passed it over to us to enjoy. So delish!! 😆🫶🏼

Thank you to the incredible team at Hyatt Regency Bellevue for having us STAY✨in your beautiful hotel and SAVOUR✨the delicious food at @eques425!

Viktoria left with such a happy heart—and syrup on her hair❤️

(more birthday content to come over at @viktoriavibes_) 🎈🎁🎉🎂✨

My Eggy—we used to call Aizley, ‘cause that’s how she pronounced her name until she was able to say it correctly at age 3. Oh how I wish she was still 3.. ⁣
⁣
Each year when she turns another age, I feel like a computer retrieving information. Memory after memory that I just wanna relive with her again. ⁣
⁣
She whispered to me recently in these exact words, “Mom, sometimes you think I’m not around, but I’ll always be here. I’ll always be here to take your pain away.” 🥺❤️⁣
⁣
What did I do right to have this child of God.. She’s such a beautiful soul and I’m so proud of her everyday for being herself, loving herself, and loving others completely.. I’m learning to be more like her everyday—not the other way around. ⁣
⁣
She’s always trying to become a better big sister to @viktoriaroux_ & @realonyxrealm_ 🥰⁣
She’s a problem solver in many ways 🤨⁣
She’s a cool friend who offers gum 😋⁣
She’s an avid learner of this world 🤓⁣
She’s a dream of a daughter, period! 😍⁣
⁣
Happy 7th Birthday to my Eggy love❤️ Oh, and that behind us?? If birthday girl wants a palm tree for her party, birthday girl gets a palm tree!! 🌴👑 🎉🎈🎂 #seenoncelinebirthday
