A mic infront of a speaker captures the speaker sound while the Gravity contact mic sitting on the cabinet captures the vibrations and resonance in the speaker cabinet itself. The result? Blending the Gravity mic signal with a normal mic adds a 3D fullness to the guitar sound thats just not captured by a mic in front of a speaker.
