Revived 2024 🧡 A free, monthly lecture series for Milwaukee's creative community - with treats & coffee! Everyone is creative. Everyone is welcome.

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I am OVER THE MOON 🌕 (see what I did there?) at the incredible response to the @milwaukee_cm Full Moon Club - we are at capacity++ for our next gathering this Friday, October 23rd 8:30-10:00am at @kuumba.juice.coffee!!

This month, we'll reflect on the full moon in Taurus, Venus retrograde and cazimi, and the arrival of Scorpio season through the theme of: Seeds of Desire 🌺. I look forward to sharing a myth-inspired ritual and grounded, sensory creative project to reflect and rest in to what we actually desire.

Bring a journal and writing utensil, water bottle, and optional floor pillow to settle and get comfy. Creative activity supplies and ritual offerings provided.

Though this session is full, to register for future full moon clubs through December, create your Creative Morning account and grab your spot here: https://creativemornings.com/talks/full-moon-club (link in bio).

Another way to experience this kind of space is my upcoming Creative Ritual Retreat Nov. 20-22 at @motherlion_bayview - essentially a weekend-long Full Moon Club ahead of the Full Moon in Gemini! A recap of a beautiful little art morning in Milwaukee 🙌

Joined @amandalinn_art for the last @milwaukee_cm (@lovetherecobs you were missed 😢).

A live improvised saxophone piece, group art mantra, a beautiful talk by @persikadesignco on her artistic and spiritual journey, a tour of the sooo cool @saintkatearts by @mariahbledsoe, and a very inspiring viewing of @heidi.parkes current exhibit Inviting Abundance.
My art cup is so full ✨ even my lunch was happy :)

I might join a coven

Quietly anticipating Christina Persika’s take on the theme Altitude.
The Whimsy-Maker” for @milwaukee_cm in her artist studio. “I’m obsessed with the way you edited for my colors, Linda!! They’re so vibrant and dreamy. And the compositions are so thoughtful and interesting. I’m really inspired by your work and how you captured me!!”
Color grading for connection of complexion and surroundings, with a nod to Vermeer. Gives me all the art school nostalgia!

The first Songwriting Club powered by @milwaukee_cm is coming up this Thursday, October 1st 4:00-5:00pm at @thelocal_makery !

Each session will be structured around experimenting with a different songwriting technique. For this first session, we'll start with Jump Writing, a lyric writing technique centered on writing to prompts, with new prompts introduced at varying intervals. We'll then enjoy focused lyric writing work and share-out (if desired), all within an awesome community.

Bring your creative self, your songwriting notebook, and a writing utensil. This will all be going down in the cozy and inspiring @thelocal_makery wine bar, which is open for lingering post-club.

To register, create your Creative Morning account and grab your spot here: https://creativemornings.com/talks/songwriting-club-89682002-7111-4f97-bb79-ad1c63db1cde (link in bio).

@milwaukee_cm put on the BEST appreciation dinner a few weeks back & styled the event with SO much Relics’s loot. Over the moon to be a part of this event & for everything Creative Mornings does for Milwaukee ♥️
