2023, a year of figuring out what motherhood could look like for me, through the many dichotomies of parenting:

Simple & Challenging
Exciting & Exhausting
In awe & Awh shit 🤦🏾‍♀️

Travelling around with my lil adventurer sure added to it all; home is wherever we roam 🌍💚

Here’s to 2024, full of fresh opportunities to explore ✨🪩💖

Headed on vacation today to swim in the ocean, catch some rays, drink some wine and turn 30!

Before leaving for the airport this morning I edited a few of my photos from @wildrosesfestival. Just look at these gorgeous humans 🥲♥️

One of my favourite things to see at Wild Roses fest was not just the amount of women gathering to share their knowledge, skills and energy, (although I LOVED that part too) but the friendships and community I witnessed.

The woman caring for her friend’s baby while she presents a workshop

the woman with her eyes glossed over in joy and pride and love, as she sits beside her friend and watches her breastfeed and tend to her child.

The woman who brought her 7 week old baby along and told me about how supported and cared for and safe she felt.

These were some of my favourite moments to witness and capture.

When we come together, anything is possible.

My heart is exploding with gratitude for the experience at @wildrosesfestival this past weekend.

It is incredible to partake in an experience that came from someone's vision, someone's dream, into manifestation. It is an honour to witness what is possible when hundreds of kindred souls come together and contribute with each their unique and individual dream seeds of magic, medicine & wonder.

Each being who walked the grounds held an irreplaceable role in what this past weekend was. Wether it be greeting the sun, dancing in the rain, prayers of songs, offering of poetry, expressing sadness, rage, joy, shedding the tears, noticing discomfort, receiving beauty; all were present and all belonged.

I am grateful my momma flew from Ontario to share this dreamspace with me & the women I love here in Alberta.

I am grateful to the organizers of this incredible gathering for their labour of love and for their willingness to say YES to us hosting a workshop on shadow work that evoked the Inner Warrior of over 120 women.

I am grateful to Nathalie for the way in which we have created a trust that feeds a rythm that allows us to co-create and offer our work with Shadow & Fire into the world.

I am grateful to creator for the bonds I have on these lands, and for the ways the collective are so generous and caring.

I am grateful for this life.
