Great to be back into it for 2026.

Our Builder Liaison, Charlie Vella, recently visited an impressive project in Coogee by @mindfulbuilding, designed by @anderson_architecture. This build features both floor and roof cassettes, along with a range of Meyer Timber products such as meySPAN, meyWALL and OSB working together to support an efficient, well-coordinated construction process.

Always valuable to see our systems in application and to support projects that prioritise smart design and quality execution.

We are overjoyed to see works begin on this prefabricated, passiv haus designed home. It was an added bonus to find out that the bricks of the demolished house could be reused in the new, being both a lovely connection to the old house, as well as a positive impact on the dwellings estimated carbon footprint. The GWP is estimated at 9kg of CO2/m2/year over a 50 year lifespan, far lower than the exemplar of 12kg/CO2/m2/yr set by Danish standards.

Big thanks to the @mindfulbuilding team for cleaning and stacking the bricks!!

Our recent project for Mindful Building showcased the transformative power of large custom skylights. These installations not only bathe the modern interiors in natural light but also enhance the overall design with sleek, contemporary elegance. The result is a space that feels both expansive and inviting, perfectly aligning with Mindful Building's commitment to innovative and beautiful architecture and building.

This studio follows #passivehousedesign principles, so it will use much less energy than Sydney buildings famously do, and the weathering shingles show @anderson_architecture don’t mind something modern ageing gracefully (even before it’s finished).
