Have you wondered ever what happened to your body if you practice yoga daily? Swipe the post !

Daily practice empowers us with the spiritual confidence gained from progressing through the asanas and breaking through mental, physical, and emotional obstacles. A daily practice cultivates the attitude that through patience and compassion, not brute strength, we can accomplish just about anything on and off our mats. A daily yoga practice has many great benefits! It helps keep us grounded, centered, balanced, flexible, strong, calm, clear-headed, focused, relaxed, happy, healthy, and free from stress and anxiety. In other words, it keeps us sane!

Partner yoga. I miss having someone to practice with and be stretched a little extra. Dancer pose. I’ve always struggled with one legged balances but I’ve started to enjoy this now.
Less than two years ago, at fifty two years old, and standing just below average height at five feet seven inches, I weighed an incredible two hundred and eighty pounds. My ideal weight is around a hundred and fifty four pounds so I was one hundred and twenty six pounds overweight.
Imagine if someone asked you to carry a hundred and twenty six bags of sugar around for you. You most likely tell them to go forth and find some other mug, but I was essentially doing the same thing and putting incredible stress on my body.
I began yoga practice after a thirty year gap and initially found that I struggled to achieve any posture I tried, but I persevered and slowly but surely my practice deepened and intensified.

Child’s pose. Sometimes you just need to rest.
Now, just over a year and a half later I weigh one hundred and seventy pounds, so I’ve managed to lose a hundred and twenty six pounds and I feel amazing for it.
How did I do it? I practice yoga for three to four hours every day and I stick to a purely vegan diet. Was it easy? Actually, it was.
If you are in a similar position why not give it a try?
I’ve published the first few chapters of my second book, my yoga weight loss journey on Wattpad and I invite you to check it out and see if it can work for you.

Bow pose. This was another posture that I used to avoid, but I’ve grown fond of it and it’s a part of my daily practice.
