Hey all! 🌱

Hope you’re all steady and well. I’ve been off with flu in the last few days but a little side project I started the other week with @theconnectedselftherapy arrived in my inbox the other day! Me and Pavan were invited by @mindhamok to do a podcast and choose our first ever podcast theme to be on perfectionism… 😏 I mean, if you are struggling with perfectionism what better way is there to trigger one’s perfectionistic tendencies if not doing a podcast on the very theme?! Haha. The little inner critic and judge of mine tells me I’m ‘too scripted’ and way too ‘quiet’ and so on and so forth. The list goes on. I’ve accepted that I have this part of me that simply loves to judge me, but with some compassion I can have distance to my voice and how I come across and just let it be and surrender into it. Accept it. 💭

🧡 So dear curious beings, followers and friends, if the theme of perfectionism resonates with you! Have a listen ☺️

It’s worth mentioning that I go deeply personal in my story of perfectionism and talk about a time I was ill for two years with vertigo. It wasn’t fun or easy at the time, and I genuinely thought I’d never get better, but I learnt to reflect upon the beliefs I carried as a result of my illness and condition.

If you’re interested have a little listen https://open.spotify.com/episode/1D7oSk80IrwVhBYAZUtkyv?si=J4axqiEPSFKVrxZWfPIxww

🫶🏼 love, A x
