POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I am quickly becoming obsessed with my time off between my gigs. I used to dread the weeks or even months between contracts, but now I see them as an integral part of my art making process... this is the time when recovery and major growth can happen! 🧘‍♀️💪
.
Part 1: podcasts and non-fic. These are the podcasts and books I'm using right now to stay motivated and get new ideas of how to expand as an artist.

What are you listening to and reading to stay in the game? I would love to know!! 💞

Thank you @mtilsonthomas for transforming the lives of so many musicians all over the world.

What a legacy.

My time at the @nwsymphony has changed my life in so many ways, filled with such memorable musical experiences and friendships that I will cherish for the rest of my life.

I take comfort in knowing that you and Josh are now reunited.

RIP Michael 💙

Big thanks to Renée for having me on her podcast to talk about health and wellness for musicians—it was such a great conversation!

If you haven’t already, be sure to check out her podcast, MindOverFinger. She’s truly inspiring in the way she approaches mindful practice, optimal performance, and building a fulfilling, sustainable musical career.

Grateful to be part of the conversation!
❤️❤️❤️

Sharing from her post 👇

@mindoverfinger mindoverfinger 🎶 Your instrument is only as strong as the body holding it. 🎶

Episode 256 is LIVE and this one is a game changer.

I sat down with Gunnery Sergeant Shannon Kiewitt, clarinetist with The President’s Own United States Marine Band and fitness coach for musicians, and she dropped some serious truth bombs about what is ACTUALLY holding musicians back from performing their best.

Years at the highest level. Zero performance-related injuries. And a bodybuilding competition that cured her stage fright. YES, you read that right.

We talked about why musicians are afraid of fitness and why that fear is costing them, how something as simple as posture can change the way you SOUND, and what a realistic movement routine looks like when your schedule is all over the place.

This episode will make you want to get up and move. And then go practice. And then perform like you mean it. 💪🎵

Listen now, link in the comments!

And tell me: do you have a fitness routine? Drop a yes or no below, I am genuinely curious! 👇

A day in the life of a Nutcracker trio musician 💕

Did you know that the Joffrey Ballet and Lyric Opera Nutcracker features an on stage trio during the party scene?

Tchaikovsky's score was reimagined for violin, clarinet and accordion 🪗

Here's a peek into what my day generally looks like.

We have performances through December 28th. I'm so excited to share the magic of this wonderful ballet with you! ✨

👉What if you could finally take action and do what you said you were going to do?

What if each week, you checked things off your list and you started seeing the momentum....

✅Seeing money rolling in from your business....
✅Starting to go on walks daily....
✅Started setting aside weekly “me time”..

And you started feeling proud.

Your focus improves.
Your anxiety lessens.
Your faith increases.

It’s time to take back over your brain.

Trying to use your willpower each day isn’t working.

Beating yourself up isn’t working.

And each day looks the same.

If you want to get unstuck — you’ve got to change your brain.

This is the reason to have a weekly coaching call.

Your brain changes with consistency, accountability and positive rewards.

Having a coach is rewarding — because each week you start stacking up the wins, following through, and seeing results.

The coaching process to get results is:

✨Awareness → ✨Action → ✨Celebration → ✨Evaluation → ✨Emotional Resilience

This is what we work on each and every week as a private coaching client.

The reason it feels so hard to do it on your own is because your brain is biologically wired to self-sabotage you and stop you from doing something new.

I know you want to get started on this process now — because you are sick of doing the same thing and getting the same results.

This week only — I’m doing an offer I’ve never done before.

🔥My Black Friday offer for 3 months of coaching will save you $667.

That’s 33% off!!

My past clients are probably going to grab these up quickly, and these spots are limited.

What you get:

✅3 months 1:1 VIP Coaching (11 coaching calls of 50 minutes on Zoom) — normally $2,000

🔥Black Friday Offer is $1,333 when you pay in full (or $555/month payment plan)

This is a PAY NOW, START LATER OFFER.

Start any time before April 2026 — lock in this price now.

You can grab this limited time coaching package now by commenting: “LIFE”

👉Comment (or message me) “LIFE” and I will send you the direct links to get 33-78% off a coaching package with me. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Renée-Paule Gauthier, violinist and New World Symphony alum (2002–2004), described NWS as “one of my favorite places on Earth.” From her first visit at age 14—when her sister was a Fellow—she encountered ideas and experiences that shaped the musician she became, from working with Don Greene on audition preparation to discovering yoga and meditation during her Fellowship at New World Symphony’s former home, the Lincoln Theatre.

Today, Renée-Paule is a performance coach for musicians, helping classical artists win auditions and build thriving careers. She also shares her insights as host of the Mind Over Finger podcast, inspiring a global community of musicians to grow both on stage and beyond.

This summer, as part of our Ripple Effect series, we celebrate alumni like Renée-Paule, whose artistry and dedication continue to shape the future of classical music. This is the last feature of our Ripple Effect series for this summer, and we look forward to returning next summer with more alumni stories.

Do you know what to do when the conductor stops right before your solo?

DO NOT START (OR KEEP) PLAYING! 🧐

Easy, right? 🔎

Also, always sing your heart out while playing!
