Part 3: The Connection Between Pelvic Tilt, Breathing & Stress

Something I’ve been learning throughout my healing journey is how much our breathing patterns and nervous system can influence the way we hold our body.

When we’re under chronic stress, our breathing can become shallow, our muscles more tense, and even the position of our pelvis can be affected.

Dealing with chronic pain and tension has made me realize how important it is to look beyond the area that hurts.

Because sometimes, understanding how we breathe and respond to stress is just as important as working on the muscles themselves. 🤍

This is not just another teacher training!

For years, we’ve been shaping this training through our own practice, self-study, years of teaching, conversations that shifted our perspective, questions that challenged what we thought we knew, and the lessons that only come from truly living the practice.

This is an invitation to stay curious, evolve through the practice, embody what you learn, and grow into someone who can empower others through it.

Last few spots left, reach out for an intro call with me. 💛

Your Yoga Teaching Path starts here 🧘

For the first time, Ohana Yoga Academy brings together the method, teachers, practices, and teachings that have shaped the way we understand and share yoga into one foundational training.

Across 200 hours, you’ll explore the Ohana Method, effective sequencing, yoga science and philosophy, functional anatomy, mantra and voice, mobility and movement science, asana clinic and assists with experienced teachers there to challenge you, support you, and give you the space to practice, teach, receive feedback, and grow.

And beyond everything you’ll learn, there’s the experience itself.

A 10-day immersion at @alfundok. Daily practice. Self-study. Community. Conversations. Shared experiences. Time away from the usual distractions to not only study yoga, but to live it.
We want you to leave more rooted in your practice, more confident in your voice, more connected to yourself, and more ready to carry yoga into the way you teach, live, and move through the world.
