Zeldzame achttiende-eeuwse Zweedse ertspenning (Dormsjö malmpollett, ca. 1750) ontdekt in Nijkerk. #minelab

Does this count as a ring? 💍

Found this a couple of weeks ago and really thought it was a big one ! It took me an absolute eternity to get it, and I had to dig seriously deep.

It’s probably just a bearing from an old fishing reel, but hey… a ring is a ring, right? 😜 🎣

EVER WONDERED WHAT METAL DETECTING IS REALLY LIKE?

Three days exploring the ancient fields of Wiltshire with Team Minelab, uncovering history, sharing finds and enjoying good company along the way.

A weekend of fresh air, new discoveries and friendships, showing there’s much more to metal detecting than what comes out of the ground.

Since it was low tide, I managed to search a large part of the wet sand, but unfortunately, I didn’t find much.

Eventually left with €0.40, an Indian 10 rupee coin, some beach toys, and a Duplo figure-which was honestly the find of the day.

// BEST. DIG. EVER

Well, what can I say about our recent 'Wandering Wiltshire' private group dig but... A complete and utter bloody success!! ☺️☺️

I feel so grateful to have gravitated towards 'in my opinion' the best bunch of Detectorists in the world!

Laughs were had as we walked, songs were sang around the campfire and finds were plentiful in the Wiltshire fields!

As well as old friends, we had a group of fellow Team Minelab detectorists join us which was fab!

Thank you of course to @wanderingwiltshire and everyone that made it such a great success' 🫶🏼
