Truly honoured to design for @lupini_______ new night @acommontask @kapsule_club ! @kahnbristol @autumns.dss @crono_hotmas @ming_mo_li

I wanted to create a hedonistic flat lay, a modular poster that can then be broken up for each DJ.

I took inspiration from @fourchambers, tart cards and some of my favourite pieces friends have made and gave me.

Nina’s work and selections are deeply passionate and I hope that my design somewhat emulates how much I love everything she does x (massive thank u for introducing me to Four Chambers ❤️)

Lupini presents: A Common Task

A new event series dedicated to the grittier edges of outsider dance music.

17th October - Kapsule, Liverpool @kapsule_club

Tickets available now from @resident_advisor

Autumns & Kahn (live) - (Detriti Records, Deep Medi, Ransom Note Records, Bandulu Records)

Picking at the threads of punk and sound system culture’s joint ancestries; Autumns & Kahn join us for a rare live set - collapsing the distance between raw maschine-dub, industrial steppers and EBM.

FFO: Nitzer Ebb, TNT Roots, The Pop Group

Conor Thomas - (The Death of Rave, NTS Radio, Boomkat, The White Hotel)

Truly the DJs-DJ. Irreverent, idosyncratic, knowledgable and ever-gutsy in his selection, Conor has quietly influenced the sound of the North West scene for years. From cult-status sets at his residency at The White Hotel (the recordings of which are salivated over by scouring youtube nerds) to buying records for Boomkat, to running The Death of Rave and Elegia - if you’re into weirdo dance music in the North West, you’ve been influenced by Conor Thomas.

FFO: Nosedrip, mad miran, Jon K

MING MÒ LI - (Queensway)

The young upstart! Freshly minted to the DJ life, Liverpool-local MING MÒ LI brings a vial of the brackish intersection between early Industrial and Deep House, pulled up from a youth spent emo-ing.

FFO: Nine Inch Nails, Galcher Lustwerk

Lupini - (NTS Radio, Heavy Texture, ACT)

And your host, Lupini; the fly-by-night ambientist, hopping the fence between gritty Electro, Post-Punk, Techno and House.

FFO: Optimo, Josey Rebelle, Elena Columbi, Lena Wilikens

A Common Task @acommontask

Midlands-born and now Toxteth-based, @ming_mo_li will be diving deep into her record collection, swimming through an eclectic mix of leftfield house and hip-hop.

Expect dusty gems, unexpected detours and a few choice selections borrowed from her dad’s stash in the attic!!

We can't wait to hear what she has in store for us.
