A little late sharing this, but it’s a memory I’ve been thinking about a lot ā¤ļø

Back in August, I had the chance to present BODYSTEP 144 at the canfitpro conference and Les Mills Experience.

What made it even more special was sharing the stage with Fred, my very first Les Mills Trainer, reconnected with Melvin after filming BODYSTEP 130 together in London šŸ‡¬šŸ‡§ šŸŽ„ and also sharing the canfitpro stage with Michael, who I’ve had the honour of mentoring.

I’m so grateful for the opportunities, the people, and the memories my fitness journey gives me. I keep saying yes because I never want to look back and wish I had taken more chances.

Now it’s time to launch this release in our GoodLife clubs! I hope you love it as much as we do!

šŸ“ø: Thank you @dcbowmanphotography for your amazing photos!

ā¤ļø: Thank you @marknuusteelebodystep and @_kaylahblayr_ for creating amazing BODYSTEP content every quarter.

Looking back at the Les Mills Experience 2026, my heart is overflowing with gratitude. šŸŽ‰

20 years ago, I started teaching Body Combat. Today, I look back and realize just how fast time flies when you’re doing what you love. It’s hard to call it "work" when you're surrounded by an incredible community and a program that has transformed into the world’s ultimate martial arts–inspired workout.

Reaching this 20-year milestone didn't happen overnight. It took grit, overcoming obstacles, starting fresh when things got hard, and believing in the dream. From being selected for the landmark Body combat 100 filming to stepping into the role of National Trainer for Canada, every hardship led to a blessing.

To everyone who has taken my classes, cheered me on, or shared the sweat and energy over two decades: thank you from the bottom of my heart. This isn't the end of a journey, it’s just the beginning of the next exciting chapter. ā¤ļø

There are some weekends that leave you feeling grateful. And then there are weekends that remind you exactly why you do what you do.

Last weekend at Les Mills Experience was that for me.
At the beginning of this year, when the right side of my face became paralyzed, I honestly wasn’t sure I would be here. I wasn’t sure what recovery would look like, or if my face would be able to keep up with the demands of a weekend like this - the energy, the movement, the lack of sleep, the hours, the adrenaline, the emotion.

And if I’m being honest, that thought stayed somewhere in the back of my mind all weekend.

Could my face handle this?

But somewhere along the way, I stopped thinking about it.

I was too busy soaking it all in.

The music. The movement. The rooms full of people moving together. The hugs. The laughs. The nerves. The energy. The people I only get to see once or twice a year who somehow feel like no time has passed.

And that’s when I was reminded of my why.

Group fitness has never just been about the workout for me. It’s the community. It’s the connection. It’s being surrounded by people who challenge you, inspire you, believe in you and make you want to keep showing up.
Year after year, I get to be part of something that feels so much bigger than any one class, track or stage.

I feel incredibly lucky to have been there. To present, to participate, to be surrounded by this community and, most importantly, to be present enough to actually soak it all in.

After a year that started with so much uncertainty, being there felt pretty damn special.

So grateful for this weekend.
So grateful for these people.
So grateful that I got to show up exactly where I wanted to be.

Toronto, canfitpro, my Les Mills family…you have my heartšŸ¤šŸ¤
