I’m so excited to be part of this!
This fall, the Association of Hysteric Curators takes over two Southern California galleries with A Racket of Banshees: Goddesses and Monsters Re-Imagined.
Goddesses. Monsters. Myth. Ritual. Transformation. Performance. Feminist futures.
Beginning September 8 at @wignallmuseum and September 14 at @lavcartgallery, A Racket of Banshees brings together contemporary feminist artists working across painting, sculpture, drawing, photography, video, performance, and community practice.
Over the next few weeks, we’ll be introducing the artists, artworks, performances, and ideas that make up this sprawling project.
Follow along. Share the work. Amplify the artists.

LIFE UPDATE! Helloooo 😄 I hope you’ve had lots of fun, relaxation, and made great memories this Summer! Looking back, I guess we managed to pack in a ton. I spent July teaching International Cooking to middle school campers at Lakeside School. It was a dream job and it went so well! I learned so much along the way and I think 10x’d my own cooking skills too. 👩‍🍳

Teaching, so far, has been an amazing field to enter. I’ve discovered I love being around teachers! What’s more is I feel this sense of belonging I don’t think I’ve genuinely felt in any of my previous endeavors. I feel so much supportive energy surrounding this transition and I am just grateful and excited to finally be here.

Speaking of which, I am excited to share that I will be teaching Spanish at University Prep in Seattle starting this Fall. Tomorrow is my first day of orientation. I’m looking forward to meeting my colleagues and seeing my classroom! Here are some snaps of life as of recent…

$After seven years of transformative growth for both me and this home, I am preparing to pass it on to its next caretakers, with all of its color and personality intact. (Many people suggested I paint it white. I did not.) As I gather photographs and memories, I am reminded of how much creativity and connection have filled this address. These images capture only a fraction of the remarkable people, animals, ceremonies, performances, meals, and magic that has unfolded here. May this home, and the land beneath it, find loving stewards who will continue its upward spiral of evolution, just as I continue mine. A few treasured moments: • Barry Morse’s Merman and Man Baby Clown drawing extravaganzas. • Odeya Nini’s voice activation workshops and transcendent sound baths. • The legendary Ben Hubby Christmas Party, featuring my script and cousin Tyler Hubby’s cleansing portrayal of my father. • Ceremonies with T.E.O. (Madre Jaguar), complete with Cal Clements’ cacao goblets and flower-imbued prayers. • The family biz, INWORDOUT’s photoshoot launch, starring friends, family, and Happy. • A magical farm-to-table feast by chefs Evan Rilling and Emily Carr. • Michael Rayner, the Hamburger Juggler, bringing healing laughter and flaming hamburgers. • A typewriter adoption party with Edward Pollard, where guests left with new analog companions. This house has been a gallery, gathering place, sanctuary, theater, classroom, dining room, ceremony space, and home. I am deeply grateful for every being who helped shape its story. 🪩 Please share with anyone who may vibe with this special place.
