Volunteer shifts filled with friends are my favorite kind! Today we helped out at @cpathtexas’ 3rd Annual Community Party! There was a great turn out, despite the rainy weather! I learned so much about this awesome organization and the population it serves! It was such an honor to play a small part in making their event a success! And it was great to see the UT Cowboys also show up to support this amazing cause! @thejuniorleagueofaustin

Meet Brandice Nelson, who serves the Junior League of Austin (JLA) as a Grant Writer and Member at Large for our Researchers Committee. Hear what she has to say to other women of color who may be interested in joining JLA, the community she found within our League, and the opportunities that we have to offer.

Blast from the past!

Today I met up with some lovely lady leaders from Junior League of Austin (JLA).

I can't believe one of the women at brunch was one of my former College & Career Prep students...back when she was in 7th/8th grade.

So proud to know her!
