We knew the OEM inlet was already well‑designed, so extracting more performance required real development, not guesswork. An OEM+ upgrade that not only increases power and torque, but also drastically amplifies the supercharger sound. An enclosed system that produces more intake sound than any open-cone kit out there. How? It’s all in the design: A massive 85mm (internal diameter) opening at the airbox smoothly tapers down to the stock throttle body size. This geometry not only accelerates airflow for better performance, but also naturally amplifies the intake sound. Performance: +14 whp peak gains, averaging +10 whp across the entire rev range, all measured with the bonnet closed. All numbers are at the wheels, measured on a DynoJET using 5th gear. Gains are without retune! 💡 Why an enclosed system? Because performance is about cold, dense air. An enclosed design isolates the air filter from the hot engine bay, ensuring it only draws in cold air. More oxygen = more power. Like all our intake systems, this airbox is made from plastic, chosen intentionally for its low thermal capacity. While metal “heat shields” act as thermal batteries, our airbox forms a true thermal barrier. 🎧 And about that sound... Open filters are loud, but our design is louder and … smarter! By utilizing the back panel and an 85mm tapered hose, the airbox resonates and amplifies the supercharger sound like nothing else. The result?
