Some call it leaf-peeping season; we call it prime sock-showing-off season. 🥾🍂

If your trail gear drawer could use an upgrade before full-on crisp weather hits, meet the Trail Advocacy Sock, created with @minus33merinowool in honor of American Hiking Society’s 50th Anniversary. Knit right here in the USA from sustainably sourced Merino wool, they keep your feet cozy, dry, and ridiculously comfortable on every hike, everywhere.

The best part? Your feet do good with every step: 33% of profits from every pair purchased on Minus33.com go directly to AHS to support volunteer trail crews protecting the paths we all love to explore.

Celebrate 50 years with us and treat your feet! Link in Bio.

Last delivery of two@minus33merinowool SAR Kits and blanket was to the Transylvania County Rescue Squad in Brevard, NC. Not to be out done they are also super active and we had to wait while they were on a recovery 🙏🏻. Paramedic David Morgan was very gracious and gave us the full tour. The kits were immediately put into service. David told us with the combined use of drones to carry equipment and e-bikes, they have their time from call out to time with patient by 50%! Didn’t see any 🧛 but they do have some super cool patches! After this stop we had a great meal at Binion’s Roadhouse and overnight at Kanuga Mountain Retreat in Hendersonville. @transylvania_rescue_squad

Peek inside the suitcase I took on the first half of the Thames Path National Trail in England this April. Comment “PATH” and I’ll send you the link to my full packing list!

My Thames Path packing list ensures you have everything you need for this beautiful National Trail that follows the Thames River from the Cotswolds all the way to East London. Whether you’re planning to hike just a section of the trail like I did or do the full 184 miles, this list will guide your packing so your suitcase contains all your hiking necessities.

While the Thames Path is one of the easiest and most urban National Trails in the United Kingdom, you’ll still go for a few days without passing through towns. In fact, there’s about a 30-mile stretch between Lechlade and Oxford It’s essential that you’re well provisioned with electrolytes, blister packs, medications, and dry clothing at all times on the trail, because it might be a minute before you can resupply.

I highlight some of the most useful items I packed in this post and will link them in my stories (saves to the “Thames Path I” highlight) but the most detailed info is in my blog post, which I’ll land in your DMs if you comment “PATH” below.

Recognize your inspiration- your best depends on it. There is always more to this, that’s for sure. Finding motivation to preserve, survive or overcome is just a part of life’s journey. That’s basic circumstances of nature. To thrive, excel and push beyond your own comfort and ability from personal experience … that takes other people. You don’t always get to chose who makes you look at things from a different perspective, but it’s up to you to notice. It’s often what provides enough strength and courage required to step beyond our own complacency or comfort zone. It’s the very explanation for what makes you…YOU. Take the chance on yourself because you could find a passion that grows forever. One more cast isn’t an option….it’s a necessity. @livingstonlures #beyou #passion #inspiration #perspective #worthit

This past Tuesday, MAPS hosted our Marketing & Career Panel that gave students the opportunity to ask questions and gain valuable insight into the professional marketing world. Panelists shared their perspectives on what to expect during job interviews, the growing importance of AI skills and the responsible use of AI in the workplace, and the future of the marketing industry. Panelists also emphasized the importance of building professional portfolios that showcase students’ skills, creativity, and experience to potential employers. Additionally, the discussion explored how emerging technologies and changing consumer behaviors are shaping the future of marketing.

Overall, the event provided students with valuable professional insights and practical advice to help them prepare for future career opportunities. We’d like to thank our advisor, Raj Sachdev, PhD, DBA, for arranging a diverse panel of marketing employers and professionals for this event. The Marketing Association of Plymouth State was excited to welcome Nicholas Keyes of AMA - Boston American Marketing Association, Mike Bednaz of Minus33 Merino Wool Clothing, and Joseph Huzar of Loon Mountain Resort

We appreciate each panelist taking the time to share their professional experiences, marketing knowledge, and valuable advice with our students. Their perspectives provided meaningful insight into the marketing field and helped students better understand what it takes to succeed in their future careers. Thank you to MAPS President Aidan McCue and MAPS Vice president Olivia Phoenix, for being our emcees, MAPS President elect Kaylie Van Blarigan for managing various arrangements, Brad Tuttle and Robert LeFevre, Director and lead of Finance for asking questions to the panel, and Makenna Douglass, Director of Social Media, for photos and arrangements.

ROADLESS 50 🎯 We asked businesses and organizations to explain why protecting these forests matters to their work. 53 stepped up! 💪
.
Their comments connected the Roadless Rule to customers, employees, business investment, outdoor learning, and experiences. They ranged from breweries and gear shops to schools, guides, photographers, and physical therapists - participants showed how far the value of these landscapes reaches.
.
You don’t have to operate on federal land to have a stake in its future.
.
The comment campaign is complete. Thank you to every participant 🙌
