Here is a sneak peek to another awesome day at JUDA Hebrew School learning all about Shabbat! Continuing our journey through Bereishit, we explored how Hashem rested on the seventh day and how Shabbat gives us time to connect with Him. Our younger students enjoyed a mock Shabbat meal and Shabbat freeze dance, while our older students explored Shabbat through music and an interactive scheduling game. Everyone continued growing in their Hebrew reading skills, and had lots of fun in tefillah!

A great start to Kabbalah and the Hidden Architecture of You. With over 20 people joining in person and online! Our first class explored what music, love, marriage, sleep, and dreams reveal about the soul and how these ancient teachings bring deeper meaning to everyday life. One thought to carry into the week: We don’t just have a soul. We are a soul. Thank you to everyone who joined us for an evening of learning, thoughtful questions, and great discussion. Looking forward to continuing the journey together! It’s not too late to join! Each class can be understood on its own, with no knowledge of the previous classes needed. If you’d like to catch up, please PM me for a recording of the first class.

You may have seen that tomorrow we are starting a Kabbalah class. Here’s some more information about it and I hope you will consider joining us! The course covers a broad range of topics. Each lesson explores 5-6 more. Together they form a sort of grab-bag course covering 30 mysterious questions - as demystified by Kabbalah, here they are: Why do you like that song? Why did you marry that one? Where does your soul go when you sleep? Why do you dream? Do animals have souls? What are the sefirot and how are they relevant to your life? Why do you have ten fingers? Is G-d’s name written on your body? What’s the mystical secret of marital intimacy? What’s the secret behind your preferences in food? Why are you attracted to certain music? Where does your emotional disposition come from? What is reincarnation? Why do you keep facing the same struggle? What did your soul come here to do? Can someone else’s soul join yours? Who really chose your name? Why do you sometimes wake up inspired? What do souls do in paradise each night? Why does that person’s flaw bother you? Can your thoughts reach someone far away? Do words affect the people you talk about? What happens when you put yourself down? Can positive thinking change your reality? Can you impact heaven? What’s the secret behind G-d’s many names? Where in my life can I touch Divine infinity? How can we bring G-d’s boundless blessings into our lives? If G-d already decided, why pray? Can you love someone’s flaws away? So what do you say - will you join us for the ride? You make sure to feed your body, your mind, and your heart. What are you doing for your soul? Join us for these six lessons. Your Neshama will thank you. Six-Lessons Begins: tomorrow October 20 Register: www.jewishtiburon.com/jli

Today at JUDA Hebrew School, we brought the six days of creation to life! In Kita Aleph and Bet, students worked together on an interactive creation mural, adding details and sharing what they learned. Meanwhile, Kita Gimmel made their own Needohs, reminding them how Hashem continually creates the world and cares for us. Everyone continued their individualized Hebrew learning and enjoyed tefillah—with Morah Lena on guitar in Kita Bet!

An incredible first day of JUDA Hebrew School! We were so excited to welcome our wonderful teachers, returning students, and new students for a fantastic year ahead! Today, we introduced our exciting, interactive curriculum! Our younger students enjoyed a fun Chumash Party, discovering how the Torah is for each of them, while our older students created edible Torah libraries highlighting the themes of the Five Books of the Torah. We also enjoyed enthusiastic Tefillah (prayer) and kicked off each student's individualized Hebrew learning journey. Looking forward to a wonderful year of Jewish learning and fun!
