Do you want to become a creative person? Too late… you already are.

This is how my book “The Magic of Creation” begins, a creative journal full of drawing tutorials, creative assignments and inspiration throughout all seasons. My book was published last February, after I worked on this book for a year from design to illustrations, ideas and text, this book was made entirely by me.

The perfect gift for that friend, girlfriend, aunt, sister, mother or cousin who is creative, but looking for fresh inspiration and challenges. Who would like to do something (more) with their hands and analog, instead of always on a screen. For those who want to embrace and experience the seasons through creativity.

Discover and create at any time of the year and awaken your creativity by browsing and doing in my book.

Published by @spectrumboeken @paperlife.nl available in Dutch at Amazon, bol.com, dille & kamille and many on- and offline bookstores

I had to draw myself 60+ for this one, which was quite a nice challenge!

Swipe for the inspiration for this editorial illustration - beautiful photos by @gabrielladimuroph - editorial in @margrietnl summer special edition with exercises from my book #demagievancreatie @spectrumboeken @paperlife.nl

Spring is in the air 🌸

Last night I couldn’t sleep from all the exciting things happening in my life right now. I lay awake from 4:30-5:30 just listening to this symphony of birds waking up 💜 I started wondering what they were doing and slowly they sang me back to sleep…

Happy international women’s day! 💪🏼 and remember, sometimes... we want to go so fast. But sometimes it’s also really nice to stand still and look around and enjoy the process… it takes time to grow that beautiful garden. Give yourself time to grow 💜 (notes from a very impatient gardener)

Spotted in @scheltemaboekverkopers bookstore! I love it when you tag me and send me photos when you see my book in the wild or when you’re journaling in it 😊

I must say, it’s been such a unique experience to work full time on something so intensely and personal, to then wait anxiously for it to arrive, celebrate its existence and then…. life continues 🙈 and although I’m working on fun new editorials and book covers again, the time of working on my very own book was so precious! Even though it was quite the investment, I would do it all over again!

Ok end of this sentimental message 😂 thanks for tagging me and keep it up please! #demagievancreatie
