Ludwig von Mises já alertava em 1922. E a história provou que ele estava certo.

O socialismo promete o paraíso, mas entrega o deserto. Promete igualdade, mas entrega miséria igual para todos — menos para a cúpula que manda.

Por quê? Porque ele destrói os 3 pilares que levaram milhares de anos para serem construídos:

1️⃣ A propriedade privada* - sem ela, ninguém cuida, ninguém investe, ninguém produz.
2️⃣ O cálculo econômico* - sem preço livre, o Estado não sabe o que produzir, quanto e para quem. Resultado: fila e escassez.
3️⃣ A liberdade* - sem ela, não há criatividade, não há empreendedorismo, não há progresso.

Por isso a Igreja já condenou em 1846 e segue condenando. Não é progresso. É retrocesso civilizacional.

O capitalismo não é perfeito. Mas é o único sistema que até hoje tirou BILHÕES da miséria extrema.

▪️ Sin propiedad privada de los medios de producción, no hay intercambio.
▪️ Sin intercambio, no hay precios.
▪️ Sin precios, no hay cálculo económico.

El planificador no sabe si está creando riqueza o destruyéndola. Navega a ciegas. No por falta de buena voluntad ni de computadoras, sino porque el dato que necesita no existe.

Socialism is technically impossible!

The fundamental problem with socialism is not simply that central planners can make bad decisions.
•
It is that the information required to plan an economy cannot be centralized.
•
Millions of people possess local, changing and often tacit knowledge about prices, demand, resources and production. No central authority can ever possess all of it in the form required to coordinate the entire economy.
•
Markets solve this problem through decentralized decision-making and the price system.
•
Socialism tries to replace that process with central direction.
•
That is why socialism cannot work. The planner cannot command knowledge that no planner can possess!
Only the free market can!🗽

Yes, tolerance can go too far! It was never meant to mean surrender.

A free society can tolerate disagreement, different beliefs and different ways of life. But it cannot remain free if it becomes unwilling to defend the principles that make that freedom possible.
•
That is the uncomfortable question the West has avoided for too long: What happens when tolerance becomes so absolute that it refuses to draw any limits at all?
•
Islamism should not be treated as simply another opinion within Western society. Any ideology that seeks to subordinate individual freedom, democracy and the rule of law to a religious-political order deserves to be confronted, not accommodated.
•
Tolerance needs limits. Otherwise, the tolerant can eventually become the ones who have nothing left to defend!🗽

The war on “hoarding” begins with a misunderstanding.

Cash holdings are not an economic defect requiring correction.
They are market signals.

When individuals increase their cash balances, they are communicating a preference for greater liquidity and a lower preference for present consumption or investment. That change in preferences is information. It affects prices, production decisions, and the allocation of resources just as surely as any other change in demand.

The moment policymakers treat the demand for money as a problem to be solved, they begin manipulating the very mechanism that coordinates all economic activity.
