The truth? Sometimes, it begins with a single decision. 🔥

And suddenly, the path ahead looks a little different.

So here’s your invitation to choose YOU.

What if nervous system regulation isn’t always about slowing down?

Sometimes we need to move, shake, sweat, dance, laugh and lift. Sometimes we need to breathe, listen, soften and rest.

There is no one right way to regulate. The invitation is to listen to what your body needs in the moment and give yourself permission to meet it there.

Sometimes we need to move.
Sometimes we need to be still.
The practice is learning to listen.

TW: sexual assault, childhood sexual abuse.

Crisis Services Canada: 1-833-456-4566
Assaulted Women's Helpline: 1-866-863-0511

There was no after. There was the next time. Then there was the next time. Then there was after. And aftermath.

I've been sitting with whether to post this for a long time. It's the most vulnerable thing I've ever written. It's about sexual assault starting at four years old, about date rape, about the slow and painful process of even accepting that what happened was what it was.

It's also about what happens to a neurodivergent body that has been through this. The freeze responses, the broken boundaries, the way the body remembers everything long after the mind has tried to move on.

And it's about getting to the other side.

Not healed in a way that erases it. Healed in a way that means there is laughter now. There is joy. There is a husband who holds space for all of it without flinching.

In our house we have a joke: the bigger the tears, the better the orgasms.

That's what healing looks like.

If you've carried something like this, this post is for you. You are not lesser. You are not dirty. Nothing that happened to you was your fault.

When most of my djing is done for others, every once in awhile, I have to take a moment, rent a hall, gather the Beloved Besties, invite Dj LoveBear…and dance just for the joy of it!

One of the deepest lessons I have had to learn over the last decade, is that if you desire to experience something in the world, you can search high and low for it…
OR you can simply work towards creating it yourself.
Last night I had the joy of playing the music
I wanted to hear with the people I needed to be with.
This moment captured by a new, dear friend, @rachaeleastman is a testament to the fruit of this lesson.
Thank you for joining me on this journey @beautifullywiredbrains @misscloe
it’s a joy to share it with you!

THE DOME IS READY!!!

After a year and a half of dreaming, building, and tending, our Om Sweet Dome is complete. The final heater is in place, and we are officially moving into this new space for hot yoga.

This has truly been a labour of love. I feel so grateful for your patience, support, and encouragement along the way.

I cannot wait to gather with you here, to move, breathe, and share practice together in the dome.

Our new 8 Week Hot Yoga Series begins May 5 and runs through June 30. This is your first opportunity to register and be part of this next chapter.

Schedule
Tuesdays 5:30 pm and 7:00 pm

A dream realized and shared with so much love and support from my amazing husband @dallasgrieve , the incredible crew at Takumi Pro, and so many beautiful souls who helped bring this vision to life 🫶🏼

What has come to life here is more than a space.
It’s a feeling. A gathering place. A soft landing.

A place where community weaves together, where people feel seen, cared for, and deeply celebrated. A space where we breathe together, move together and heal together.
A space that feels like a big community hug where everyone is welcome, hearts open, and connections deepen.

At Om Sweet Dome I offer hot yoga, mindful movement (Functionally Fit), monthly dance events, retreats, sound journeys, and Osteo Thai massage.

I recently had the honour of working with an incredibly talented videographer, Kiet Le, who brought this promotional video to life so beautifully. So grateful for the care, artistry, and intention he brings to his work.

Kiet Le is true professional, kind hearted , generous, and deeply gifted at what he does. He collaborates closely with clients to create high quality content that truly connects and tells a meaningful story.

If you’re an entrepreneur or own a business looking to bring your vision to life, I highly recommend connecting with Kiet.
