- Friday 23rd October

There is no court from Friday the 16th of October to Thursday the 22nd of October.

Please update your calendars and help us to keep sharing the fundraiser link in bio - this date change means increased expenses to ensure Eimable's family can attend in person.

What an amazing day for @missedaus !! Thank you to everyone who came, we are stoked to share that we raised over 2.5k for the charity! All of this was done because of one of our amazing coach’s @mk.rubae - we can’t sing her praises loud enough for facilitating all of this. Enjoy the recap video from @tomise

The Greer Games for Missed in Motion 👟👏

Thank you to everyone who helped make the day happen, got involved and donated 🫶

We smashed our fundraising goal of $3,200, representing Mum’s age when she went missing, and raised over $5,000, which will go directly to @missedaus to support families left behind.

Shoutout to the content queen of the day (and CEO) Loren, for capturing it all 📸

There are some causes you don’t just support… you show up for.

Anyone who knows me knows I have always and always will, be up for anything that helps raise money, awareness and support for people who need it. And today was absolutely no exception.

When a friend told me about this fundraiser supporting families left behind by the devastating number of people who go missing in Australia, I knew I had to be there.

150 people. Every single day.

Today, we didn’t just talk about it. We fought for it.
The sparring session was powerful, emotional, exhausting and, at times, pretty bloody brutal! But that was the point. Every punch, every round and every person who stepped into that ring helped shine a light on something that desperately needs more awareness.

Because behind every statistic is a person.

And behind every missing person are families left searching, wondering, grieving and trying to keep going while their entire lives are turned upside down.
That’s why the work of The Missed Foundation matters so much.

The Missed Foundation works to humanise missing loved ones and provide practical and emotional support to the families and communities left behind. They remind us that these aren’t just numbers or statistics.. these are real people, real families and real lives.

And for me, being part of something like this means even more because of my two boys.
I want my sons to grow up understanding that looking after each other matters.

And a HUGE call out to The Missed Foundation for the incredible work you do to make sure missing people are never reduced to a statistic, and that the families who are left behind know they are not alone.

Because sometimes showing someone they matter starts with simply showing up.
For the missing.
For the families.
For our kids.
For every person who might be struggling silently.
For all of us.

Massive congratulations to @drsarahwayland on the launch of her new book, Living in the Liminal Space.

Sarah has translated the heavy, ongoing weight of unresolved loss into something practitioners can use to support the families left behind.

I think it’s fair to say Sarah is the academic lord and saviour of our sector 🙏

An amazing opportunity to speak on a panel alongside @tarajlal and Michelle Blanchard, facilitated by Myfanwy Maple. We discussed how ambiguity shows up across intersecting areas, including missing persons, adoption and first responder work.
The event was also an important opportunity to showcase the pioneering work of @missedaus.

Big fan girl energy all round 😍👏

Listen to Eimable's loved one Kendra and mum Benigne emphasise the importance of community support for the upcoming inquest, and the urgent need to fundraise to ensure that Benigne and Eimable's siblings can travel to Melbourne to attend.

Please like and share this post, follow @justiceforeimable for updates, and donate to the fundraiser that CARP have organised to cover the costs of Eimable's loved ones traveling to Melbourne for the inquest from the 12th to the 16th of October 2026.

Listen to Eimable's mum Benigne talk about what it means to have reached the point of a coronial inquest, and the significance of speaking up not just for Eimable but for other young African people and their families.

In October, a coronial inquest will be held to investigate the circumstances of Eimable's disappearance and passing. Please show up to support Eimable's family and loved ones through this incredibly difficult time.

During National Missing Persons Week, we will be making posts sharing the story of dearly missed Melbourne soul singer Eimable Manirakiza's disappearance in June of 2021, the community-driven search to find him, his loved ones’ ongoing fight for justice, and information about the upcoming coronial inquest into his passing.

Please like and share this post, follow @justiceforeimable for updates, and donate to the fundraiser that CARP have organised to cover the costs of Eimable's loved ones traveling to Melbourne for the inquest from the 12th to the 16th of October 2026.
