Help find my friend, Svetlozar Yotov, also known as Ken, who has been missing for 5 years this week.

The Met Police's handling of his case has been dreadful. They know the person who has his phone has a criminal record yet still don't want to question him.

If you have seen Svet in Angel, Waterloo, East London or elsewhere, contact Missing People on 116 000, or call the police on 101. Please share, repost and spread the word.

An estimated 8 million children are reported missing around the world every year, according to;

International child protection organizations historical and International Centre for Missing & Exploited Children. However, there are approximately 6.2 billion adults aged 15 and olders, in the world.

Make this make mathematical sentnece ????

Our children are our future leaders. We have to start prioritising the health and safety of our babies.

Adults!!! It's time for some deep root
" INNER HEALING" Our children depend on us.

Justice for all the beautiful children ❤️ 🙏

As we are deep in post production for Scelus (more news on that soon!), here is a little throwback to a Q&A hosted by both the wonderful @southlondonfilmfestival, and @peckhamplexcinema and the cinema’s chairman John Reiss for my written and directed short film London’s Forgotten which was shot in 2022 and released in 2024, and played in BAFTA/BIFA qualifying festivals.

The Peckhamplex was instrumental in our film’s success, supporting us along the way.

Here is a little clip of our Q&A, interviewed by the talented @thekyriakosgeorgiou If you want to watch the whole Q&A, you can find them in the YouTube link in my bio.

Margate Coffee Week Spesh - Raspberry Dream 🩷

We’ve been lucky enough to work with the incredibly talented @calvinmakescoffee to design this delicious, delight for next weeks very first @margatecoffeeweek 💚

It’s a megamix of homemade raspberry and sage syrup, soda and…coffee cold foam (or vanilla if you wanna make it caffeine free) 🤯

It’s like eating one of those refresher bars followed by fairy cake batter mix, your mind and mouth will be blown (in a really tasty way) 🤭

Most importantly, it’ll be our charity drink of the week. With the whole £5 going to our mates at @missingpeople.uk 🫂

Who knew fundraising could be so flavoursome.

Come get it from the hatch from 8th-10th (9am-1pm) - along with your bingo stamp too.

Or don’t and feel sad forever 😭

Alt text: this photo is taken on a lovely stainless steel, boxy coffee table. The drink is beautiful, in one of our clear plastic cups with a really cute rounded bottom. The lower 2 thirds of the drink is a sparkly baby pink dream, with a thicccc layer of coffee tinted cold foam on top. To finish there’s some fried dried raspberries because everyone loves a lil crunch. It’s sat on a neon yellow smiley face coaster and there is a lilac circle in the top left corner with the words: MARGATE COFFEE WEEK, circling around it in black text.

Missing People's frontline services recorded cases of women who had effectively gone into hiding because of stalking. One woman reported that her husband had stalked her and her friends, leaving her too frightened to return home and concerned he might report her missing. During a one-month period, 3 women experiencing stalking contacted Missing People's helpline for support, indicating that dozens of women may seek this support each year.

These stories are a stark reminder that stalking can have life-changing consequences. Forty years after Suzy Lamplugh's disappearance, there is still more to do to ensure that everyone can access support and protection before they reach crisis point.

Women being stalked sometimes fear abduction and disappearance and this is why our 40 Years Should Have Been Enough campaign matters. Four decades after Suzy Lamplugh's disappearance, we know there is still more to do to prevent stalking, harassment and abuse, and to ensure everyone can live free from fear.

Research by Missing People shows that women experiencing stalking can become fearful of being abducted by their stalker. One survivor described being so frightened that she told her family that if she ever went missing, they should investigate the stalker first. This illustrates the direct connection between stalking, fear of going missing, and risk of serious harm.

Personal safety concerns are a major reason women go missing.

Missing People's research found that 61% of women who had previously gone missing cited concerns about their personal safety as a reason for going missing, including fears linked to abuse, harassment and stalking. This suggests that going missing can be a protective response by women seeking safety from a perpetrator.

The findings from Missing People highlight the reality that, for some women, going missing is a desperate attempt to escape harm. It's a reminder of why preventing stalking, harassment and abuse, and ensuring people can access support before they reach a crisis point, is so important.

Forty years after Suzy Lamplugh's disappearance, the need for personal safety education and support remains as important as ever. Together, let’s create a society where no one has to live in fear.

Following our activities on 28 July to mark the 40th anniversary of Suzy Lamplugh's disappearance, this week we are highlighting the long-standing connection between the Suzy Lamplugh Trust and @missingpeople.uk .

🎥 Hear from Missing People's CEO, Ross Miller, as he shares the history behind the organisation and explains how Suzy's disappearance exposed the lack of support available to families of missing people. That gap led to the creation of Missing People, ensuring families facing the unimaginable would never have to navigate it alone.
