💔 This is why LEVEL OF CARE matters so deeply in addiction treatment. Our hearts go out to Presley’s family and everyone who loved him. Losing a child is an unimaginable kind of grief & this is a heartbreaking reminder that not everyone struggling with substance use needs the same level of support. Sober living is not detox or residential treatment, and it does not provide 24/7 medical or clinical care. Every person deserves care that matches their medical, psychiatric, and substance-use needs… and that level of care may need to change over time. ➝ Getting someone into treatment matters. ➝ Making sure they’re in the right level of care matters just as much. #MentalHealthProfessionals #addictionrecovery #addictiontreatment #ocshrinkscommunity #presleyfamily

Today Be Well, AMFM, and Inward Bloom brought to gether the community to discuss the importance of coordinating levels of care in the mental health field. Elena Eisen of AMFM @mission_prep_hc presented “Higher Levels of Care: Recognize • Assess • Match • Refer • Coordinate” Clinicians learned how to move from uncertainty to a clear, consistent approach when a client may need more support or a “higher level of care”. Together we learned from each other, built referrals, and explored how to address barriers to treatment. This is the stuff they don’t teach you in grad school, which is why it’s essential to have a community when you work in the mental health field. Seeking that community and professional development? Let @be_well_office help you. JOIN the Be Well Private Practice Community for only $30/mo. Be Well Private Practice Community: A space created for therapists (by a therapist!) and wellness professionals to connect, grow, and feel supported in their journey. As a member, you’ll gain access to: > Exclusive resources > Networking opportunities > Professional development > Partner discounts > A community that truly understands your work This is YOUR community. The more you engage, the more you grow. We believe that “rising tides raise all boats!” We’re excited to support your success. 💛 Curious? Our approach to this adolescent mental health home was a little different this time. Our previous teen homes were more bold with energetic art, but this house just felt calm. So we leaned into that and designed it to feel like your favorite relative’s home, you know, the one that lowers your shoulders the second you walk in. Soft textures, warm woods, quiet light and always a welcoming bed to somehow touch the soul 🤍 #hibnerdesign #missionprep #mentalhealthhome #healingthroughdesign
