A huge thank you to K. Westphal Jewelers for sponsoring my journey! My family has always turned to them whenever we need help with anything, even something as simple as fixing my dad’s watch. Beyond their amazing service, I absolutely love the charming, welcoming atmosphere inside this hometown jeweler! I’m so grateful for their generosity and support throughout this journey. It means so much to have local businesses like this cheering me on!

A huge thank you to Andover Family Optometry for sponsoring my journey! As my hometown optometry office, I’ve been going to them since the very beginning, and I’m so grateful for their continued support. As a glasses wearer, I love my glasses, but having contact lenses is so helpful when performing on stage! Thank you for your generous donation and for supporting me along this journey. It means so much to have the support of a hometown business that has been part of my life for so long! If you’re looking for an amazing eye doctor, be sure to check out Andover Family Optometry!

If there is one thing pageantry has given me that I will forever be grateful for, it’s sisterhood.

Somewhere between the rehearsals, the late-night talks, the happy tears, the nervous moments, and the memories we’ve made, pageantry became so much more than a stage, a crown, or a sash. It became a place where I found people who celebrate my wins as if they were their own, hold my hand through the hard moments, and remind me of who I am when I need it most.

Between Miss Kansas Volunteer and the National Sweetheart Pageant, I have found my forever family. A group of women who have taught me that we can all chase our dreams, stand on the same stage, and still be each other’s biggest cheerleaders. We aren’t here to tear each other down. We are here to lift each other up, open doors for one another, celebrate each other’s growth, and remind each other that there is room for all of us to shine. Because at the end of the day, the crown is temporary, but the friendships, the love, and the memories we make along the way are forever.

I walked into this world never knowing just how much it would change my life, and somehow, I found pieces of home in women who once were strangers. Women who have become friends, friends who have become sisters, and sisters who I know will be standing beside me long after the lights go down and the crowns are put away.

To my pageant sisters, thank you for making this journey so much sweeter than I ever could have imagined. Thank you for being my safe place, my biggest supporters, and some of the most beautiful souls I have ever had the privilege of knowing. I will forever be grateful that this crazy, beautiful world of pageantry brought us together.

We may share a stage, but we will always share something so much bigger than a competition. We share a sisterhood, and I will spend the rest of my life being thankful that I found mine.

When I chose this gown, I knew I wanted it to mean something. The teal was intentional, representing the suicide prevention ribbon and a cause that has forever changed my life. A cause that I have dedicated so much of my heart to, and one that will always remind me of my dad.

But there was something else about this dress that made me fall in love with it. The way it moved reminded me of the ocean, my favorite place in the entire world. The way the waves rise and fall, the way the water catches the light, and the way something can be so breathtakingly beautiful while holding so much power.

And in a way, I think that is what made this gown so special to me. Because grief feels a lot like the ocean. Some days the waves are gentle, and other days they feel impossible to stand against. But even through the strongest storms, there is still beauty, there is still light, and there is still hope.

Walking across that stage in teal meant carrying a piece of my dad with me. It meant honoring the lives we have lost, the battles we cannot always see, and the people who are still fighting to see another tomorrow.

Let’s be honest, walking on stage in a swimsuit can be scary. It takes vulnerability, confidence, and the courage to step outside your comfort zone, even on the days when you don’t feel your most confident. I am SO proud of every person who has the courage to put themselves out there and show up anyway.

Winning the swimsuit preliminary was such a special moment for me, and a reminder that hard work really does pay off. The hours of preparation, the dedication, and the work you put into yourself matter. I’m so incredibly grateful for this moment and the opportunity to celebrate how far I’ve come. Here’s to embracing the scary, trusting the process, and being proud of the person staring back at you in the mirror.

One of the most special parts of being a Miss Kansas Volunteer titleholder is getting to be part of the Honeybee program and, most importantly, getting to celebrate the incredible young women who make it so meaningful.

Being a Honeybee is about so much more than a title. It is about service, kindness, confidence, leadership, and creating a community where young women know just how capable and important they are. Getting to meet these amazing girls, hear their stories, cheer them on, and watch them shine is truly an honor I will always cherish.

As an MKV titleholder, it is such a privilege to have the opportunity to mentor, encourage, and celebrate the next generation of young women. These moments are a beautiful reminder of why we serve and why this organization is so special.

And a HUGE Honeybee shoutout to Keisha Crain for being recognized with the Community Service Award! Your dedication to serving others is inspiring, and I am so proud to celebrate you!

To all of our Honeybees, always remember that you have a place in this family, a voice worth hearing, and a light worth sharing. Keep buzzing, keep serving, and keep being YOU!

With love,
Your Miss Kansas Volunteer

Bingo night at Ten Penny was a BLAST!

I had so much fun spending the evening with the Leavenworth Lions Club playing bingo, laughing, and enjoying time with such an amazing group of people!

One of my favorite parts of being Miss Kansas Volunteer is getting to show up in my community, make memories, and connect with the incredible organizations that help make Leavenworth such a special place. Thank you to the Lions Club for having me and for such a fun evening!

✨Happy National Do Something Nice Day✨

Today is the perfect reminder that kindness doesn’t have to be grand to make a difference. Sometimes, it’s as simple as holding a door open, checking in on a friend, giving someone a compliment, or simply taking a moment to make someone feel seen.

One of my favorite things about pageantry is that the crown is never really about the crown. It’s about what you choose to do with it. It’s about using your voice, your platform, and your opportunities to serve others and leave every community a little brighter than you found it.

So today, I challenge you to do something nice for someone else. You never know how much a small act of kindness might mean to someone who needs it.

Let’s be the reason someone smiles today <3
