A moment worth celebrating. 🏆

We are incredibly proud to celebrate our Founder & CEO, @misterokello, who has been honoured with the Lifetime Achievement in African Tech Award at the Tech & AI Expo Zanzibar 2026. (@techaiexpo )

From building technology ventures to empowering young people with digital skills and creating pathways from learning to earning, Robert has spent years championing Africa’s talent and its place in the global digital economy.

This recognition is not just about one person. It represents the many people, teams, partners, mentors, learners, and communities who have been part of the journey.

At Maarifasasa, we believe Africa's talent is not a gap to be filled, but the world's greatest untapped opportunity. Congratulations, Robert. And thank you for continuing to build.

18 days to go.

Let's talk about where we are.

✅ Africa now has 9 tech unicorns. 8 of them are fintechs.

✅ AI is being trained on African languages for the first time.

✅ 12,000 NVIDIA GPUs are being installed across 5 African countries right now.

This is not potential. This is proof. The Tech & AI International Expo 2026 exists to connect the people building this — with the capital, the policy, and the platforms that can take it global.

Your seat is waiting. 🔗 techaiexpo.co
