Google Photos (unbidden I might add) created this animation of my recent photo. I look more animated (pun intended) in the drawing than in the photo!

"It's a dangerous business, Frodo, going out your door. You step onto the road, and if you don't keep your feet, there's no knowing where you might be swept off to." ~ Samwise Gamgee, LOTR

Entrepreneurs on social media talk a lot of hot air about scaling, growth, getting clients, "high figure" amounts of money. They preen, pretend, and pose, rarely daring to show WHERE they started.

None of that display happened here...right away.

This converted home dining room/office space served me mightily for the last five years.
This place allowed a seed to grow.

I planted it five years ago here in this space with my wife's support, a blog, $50, and no clients. I watered it with prayers, tears, frustration, failures, disappointments, challenges, and fertilized it with unexpected successes and even the good times.

Five years later, the slow growth of that seed now sprouted into a seedling, allows me to step out on the road, and leave this place for the next enormous adventure.

Which is a dangerous business when you leave your Hobbit hole.
Who knows what could be out there?
