So, before we started work on PH/Pumpkinhead’s last studio album #KnowTheLedge he had a project he wanted to put out right before it called “Revenge Of Radames” he even had a link to Vincent Laresca, the guy who played Radames in Juice and was gonna try and get him to do some interludes or an intro… So we had what a believe was a 2 day session over at JustBlaze’s studio Stadium Red in Harlem. P put together a team to work on some tracks. Illmind was there playing us joints, super engineer @mixedbyariel was on the boards. Of course the MCMI team was there me @lr_blitzkrieg , @itsgms777 and @_in_memoryof_ph. @fubzilla was there capturing it all on his camera 📸 I think that was the first time I met @chordzcordero and I’m pretty sure I had already met @eletewright …. Illmind would play tracks and we just all sat coming up with concepts and ideas and hooks for different songs. #JeanGrae came through and sung a hook for a song called “Realist thing I ever wrote” me and a singer who’s name I can’t remember did the on a track I wrote the hook for called “Cali Creepin’” (produced by @khrysis_ ) Elite wrote and recorded the hook for a track called “Ready To Go” that was super fire and then there what was supposed to be the lead off single “Grustle” when I tell you that was the most fun, most organic and productive studio session ever! Anyway, not allot of people have heard this track and it’s my bro PH’s birthday so have a listen, go check out the rest of his catalog and remember the underground legend Robert “PH” Diaz. ❤️ #ripPH #MCMI

Not Letting Go is out now ✨✨

We’ll share more of the story in the days to come…but this idea started with the lead synth line way back in 2021…was reimagined and rewritten multiple times…until we ended up at the lovely, danceable, energetic version you hear today.

What do you think?

It’s been a pretty insane week for us, and there’s a whole lot of new folks here - so we wanted to say hi! We’re really glad you’re here. We have a lot to catch you up on..

We’re Supertaste, from Brooklyn. The band “officially” started in 2020, but we’ve all been chasing this impossible dream since we were kids. (Check the carousel for some teen-band throwbacks… might as well show you the whole story lol)

It started with just Lucas and Zach (long hair). We quickly realized Zach (short hair) was way better at keys, and honestly required if we wanted to stop guessing our own chords. So he joined up.

That lineup played a LOT of small shows - @sofarsounds sets in libraries, wedding venues, bars, even a bed sheets store in Philly lol. That grind was our 10,000 hours.

Then we met our mixing engineer, the inimitable @mixedbyariel , who turned our rough ideas into something real.

2024 rolls around and we meet our manager, @tj.mccloy - a guy who believes in us so fiercely we’re shocked any version of this band existed before him. That’s when it clicked. We found our sound and released our debut LP.

Then came the glue guy: @gavinchops . The zen master. The drummer. He grounded our live show and shifted our energy from Sofar in a bedding store to festival stage ready.

Then came @themustachebash - a pivotal moment. They gave us a slot we probably didn’t deserve yet, but they saw the vision. We went from 200 people in Brooklyn to 10,000 at sunset, opening for @chromeo in San Diego. (Huge shoutout @jeromesavino )

It felt like a dream - but it was the dream starting to become real.

More shows followed. We played @aclfestival . Played @electric_forest . Gained 30k followers overnight off one video.

That growth looked overnight, but it’s really 6 years of this band - and honestly, our whole lives leading here.

This year: more music, more shows. This is only the beginning.

We are so stoked to have you here. Welcome to the Supertaste family. Let’s take this worldwide.

We love you. 🤍

Ps. Sending love to the rest of our team: @zyserhead @maxbritt @nettwerkmusic @alxpalumbo @ianstewartmusic @atlas_touring

the ephemeral trail is finally yours 🌞

these four tracks move through the ache of impermanence - feeling suspended between the fleeting experience of being human against the more enduring shells of art, memory, impact, connection.

1. SKIN
2. Sun Brain
3. Never Gonna Survive (Save Me)
4. Carry Over

Lucidity was written, re-written, scrapped & re-written again in a matter of 3 days. In early 2026, we were camped out up in the Blue Ridge Mountains of TN for a few winter weeks before heading out on tour - hunkered down to work on the new album. Lucidity was born, rehearsed, then the next two months saw 34 shows opened with this track - all across North America.
The song itself is about the pursuit of truth, and a clear vision forward - through the muddled darkness of a world on fire around us.

There are a few people listed below, without whom this song would not exist as it does today.

THANK YOU SO MUCH TO:
@coltonbrwn for laying down horns layers to really push this one over the edge into the truly powerful ending we are left with.
@gavinchops for bringing this song off the record and onto stage in a way only you know how - with expert precision and the infectious glowing energy that is signature to you.
@buckyboudreau for the unbelievable graphic. The light in the darkness. The guiding glow from within.
@mixedbyariel for turning this demo mix into the crispy gold that it is - you see the same vision of our sound as we do. Thank you.
@ianstewartmusic for the level 10 mastering services - the master masterer!
@nettwerkmusic for your enthusiasm behind what you do. Thanks for joining the fam ❣️
@atlas_touring for helping us bring the music to stages near and far
And above all, the man who believes in us more than we believe in ourselves. Our captain 4evaaaa Mr @tj.mccloy

(And also our moms - hi mom - we ❣️ u)

LUCIDITY is out now 🪩

After teasing it as the set opener at every single show this year, we’re beyond excited to finally send our symphonic disco heat missile out into the world.

This song has already seen every corner of the country…and hopefully it crosses some borders next. Tell us where you’re hearing it and who you’re with. Building this community around the music has meant everything to us, and this is just the start of what’s coming.

Send it to a friend. Dance in your kitchen. Supertaste is here to stay in 2026.

See you on the dance floor 🕺
