BCPA PROVINCIALS 2026

It was not my strongest day

SQUAT - 227.5
BENCH - 162.5
DEADLIFT - 240
TOTAL - 630

Everything was great going into this day,
My prep was the best I’ve ever had, no hiccups, PR’s leading into the meet, no minor injuries, strongest I’ve ever felt…

I did imagine big hairy ass goals for myself as a motivator, but I also had realistic ones too which I definitely thought I was capable of, seeing how well prep went and how I can peak.

Just goes to show you, even when you do everything right, you gotta be able to manage and take what is on the day.

Thanks to @bcpowerliftingassociation for hosting an awesome 3 day event, and meet director @missjenguin for her tireless effort to hold a high standard of meets.

Thank you to @casciolisc for your coaching and support, especially through a tough day, and to @mj.physio for keeping me put together so I can push myself as hard as I can.

CanPL Nat’s 2026 Recap:

Well .. we cut a little bit more than we meant to, and it had its effects unfortunately. Squats just weren’t there day of. Everything else moved great, the issues I’ve been struggling with this prep managed to stay under wraps. And finally overcome the curse of my third bench !
Overall, very proud of the performance for this meet :)

BW- 45.1kg/99.5lbs
S- 160kg/353 lbs (+15kg NR)
B- 82.5kg/182lbs (+5kg comp PR)
D- 185kg/408lbs (+10kg comp PR)
T- 427.5 kg
GLP- 123.6 ❗️
 -> 8/9 day

🥈47kg OW
🥈Overall Women’s

Had the opportunity to compete in an incredibly stacked 47kg flight, truly one of the toughest lineups! Coming in as a wildcard, there weren’t many expectations around my performance.. Jumping from a 366 to 427.5 total in the weight class tends to do that 😉

We really weren’t sure what to expect from our first National’s meet with @canadapowerlifting, but you can see why this turnout is the way it is year after year.
A huge thank you to the directors, refs, and volunteers for everything they put into this meet: the organization, the support, and all the little details that made the experience what it was for the athletes. This was the most fun we’ve had competing in a long time. Truly grateful to have been a part of it.

The livestream may have been wrong, but team @albertapowerlifting still won best province in my books!
Cheers to all the new friends from the journey and a huge thank you for the support from my fam, as always 🫶🏻

We stay hungry.

CANPL NATIONALS 2026

Bench Press Only

Attempt 1 - 152.5 kg
Attempt 2 - 160 kg
Attempt 3 - 165 kg (PR)

Finally achieved the 165 on the platform after 3 misses, and had the awesome opportunity to battle for the podium, only to succeed and get my first ever podium at Nationals!

Huge thanks goes out to @casciolisc for coaching me and @anton_lin_2 for help on the day as well! 🙏

Also, big shout out to @mj.physio for making sure my ailments are always in check! 🙏 Except for my waddle… Still working on that

Didn’t think I would have the opportunity for a podium spot, but it goes to show, you put in the work and when the opportunity presents itself, be ready to take it! 🥉

Now back to the build we go.
