POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Thank you to everyone who came out to my re-election fundraiser! It was a great evening and I’m completely floored by the love and support from so many in our community! Special thanks to @bobbiesinghallen and @serg2021 for the incredibly generous introductions, and to my colleagues who showed up to support me!

We’re still getting some last minute contributions, but I can safely say we’ve blown past what I raised in any previous year and exceeded my expectations. I’m so incredibly grateful and honored, and I will strive to be worthy of the faith you all have in me!

Also a special special thank you to @piglatineg who took such good care of us and provided such amazing food! If you haven’t already done so, come check them out. They are an absolute gem here in Elk Grove!

Last week, I had the privilege of attending the OCA Legislative Reception, an event that deepened my commitment to advocacy and community engagement.

The room was filled with inspiring leaders, many of whom are immigrants, refugees, or descendants of, who continue to drive meaningful change.

We honored Congresswoman Doris Matsui and Attorney General Rob Bonta for their unwavering dedication to equity and justice. Also, both Congresswoman Matsui and Mayor Bobbie Singh-Allen spoke powerfully about the immigrant journey, the vital contributions of immigrant communities throughout history, and how those stories form the backbone of America.

I’m especially grateful for the opportunity to learn from and connect with leaders whose work I deeply admire. Being able to exchange stories, ideas, and reflections with them continues to shape the way I show up in this work.

Appreciation to @ocasacramento OCA for bringing people together in a space rooted in purpose and shared commitment. 🙏🏾

Elk Grove City Council presented proclamations in honor of Juneteenth 🖤💚❤️💛 and Pride Month 🏳️‍🌈. As a member of the Diversity and Inclusion Commission, I was proud to stand alongside our city leaders in reaffirming that Elk Grove is—and will continue to be—a city that is Welcoming to All.
Proud and blessed to be a part of this city.

🌈 This morning, Elk Grove raised the Pride flag — and my heart felt so full. I stood alongside our AMAZING Mayor Singh-Allen, fellow commissioners, and community members, feeling the weight and beauty of what this moment means for our city.

As someone with deep personal ties to the Queer community and now serving on the city’s Diversity & Inclusion Commission, I’m humbled to be part of a city that shows up, speaks out, and stands together.🙏🏾

This is what belonging looks like.
This is what leadership looks like.
This is what community looks like.
