Eid-el-Kabir - The Festive of Sacrifice, Strength, and Perseverance

Dear FUTARIANS and fellow Nigerian Students;

We, the Students' Representative Council of the Federal University of Technology, Akure Students Union extend warm and heartfelt Eid-el-Kabir wishes to you all. May this festival bring joy, peace, and blessings to each and every one.

Eid-el-Kabir is a celebration that holds great significance in the Islamic faith and culture. It reminds us of the values of perseverance and sacrifice. Just as Prophet Ibrahim demonstrated unwavering determination and obedience to Allah's command, we, too, must embrace these virtues in our own lives.

In the pursuit of education, we face various challenges and obstacles. However, it is through perseverance that we can overcome these hurdles and achieve our goals. Let this festival serve as a reminder that our efforts will be rewarded if we remain steadfast and committed to our studies.

Moreover, Eid-el-Kabir teaches us the importance of sacrifice. The willingness of Prophet Ibrahim to sacrifice his beloved son as an act of obedience is a powerful lesson in selflessness. As students, we must also be willing to make sacrifices for our education. This may involve late nights of studies, prioritizing assignments over leisure activities, and making choices that contribute to our long-term success.

Let us embrace the spirit of perseverance and sacrifice as we celebrate this joyous occasion. May we find inspiration in the story of Prophet Ibrahim and apply these lessons in our daily lives.

Once again, we wish you all a blessed and prosperous Eid-el-Kabir! Barka-de-Sallah.

Signed:
